I didn't want to rent one every month so I did a little research and this one was suppose to be one of the best. It isn't as great as I thought it would be. It's fast but it doesn't seem to be as fast as I thought or much faster than my old one.

Our old Modem kept acting up and we'd have to reboot it. This one was compatible with our cable service. The only negative is all the lights on the front, especially when you come into a dark room at night. Otherwise does a good job for our needs which are minimal. Does seem to provide better internet access for our computer which is in a different room.
