It was easy to set up; keep in mind that having a smart phone or tablet makes it much easier. The WiFi unobstructed range is only about 200 feet; walls reduce the range to about 50 feet for me.

Dump your cable company's wi-fi router for this.

You'll notice smoother streaming of videos and podcasts. You'll also have better streaming of Amazon Prime which is slowed down by one provider's router that goes by the name of 'the cable company that can't be named.

Works perfectly

This was one of the models recommended by Xfinity for my address. Easy enough to set up. Works perfectly. It will take a while to recover cost, but good to know I won’t have more increased rental charges. Not sure how the white will last, but no other colour options.

Not many choices for a Gateway with phone jacks

It's big, tall & white, really stands out, not in a good way. It works and serves it's purpose and is one of a very few available!
