    Needed a new modem to make use of the speed offered by Xfinity. This modem did not disappoint. Had a few issues during the install getting the bridge mode set up since this modem is not our primary WiFi system in the house (Eero Pro is what we use). Definitely recommend this modem if you don't want to rent from Xfinity.

    I purchased this because my Wi-Fi router went out on me. I just decided to upgrade my modem as well. It works great. I thought I would need a Wi-Fi extender. I get good signal strengths in the back of my place although the modem is located in the front.

    It works great. Dealing with Comcast to setup the router was troublesome. They could not validate the serial number. Ultimately had to use a cmac number. Initially the WiFi was not working for about 15 minutes after setup and again for the following day. Never had a WiFi issue with Comcast for 2 years but maybe it was just a coincidence. It has been perfect ever since!
