With the optional accompanying Geek squad coverage this is an improvement over tech support response " bring it in and get another one". Mind your "p's and q's" setting this up.

Doing the Job

I have a landline so my choice was very limited. I had heard that this modem was hard to set up so I held off getting it but, it was easy to set up, follow the set up instructions and Comcast recognized it finished the set up for me. Stronger signal then my older model.

This was expensive but based on the monthly rental cost it will pay for itself in less than two years. This unit works perfectly for my Xfinity provided internet service and VOIP telephone service.
