ARRIS Modem works well with XFinity.

This router-modem meets my needs and will save me money in about 10 months over renting a router modem from Comcast.

Getting it linked up was a bit of a hassle--the directions are useless, but there is good information on the internet that will get you installed and running fairly quickly.

I spent way too long paying that monthly rental fee. This pays for itself over time and the quality is the same. Was very easy to swap out, but I did have to call Xfinity and activate over the phone.

I work from home and have Disney plus playing while another is doing home work on the chrome book and the tv app all at the same time with no lag WiFi capable with the phone outlet

However, it does not work if you are using the wireless box to connect to one of your TVs. This modem can not enable the MoCA interface that is needed for the wireless connection. Thank you, Best Buy for your return policy!

Don’t trust Comcast in what they say

After some time with them on the phone the technician comes out and tells me service is not available in the block I live in!

Good cable modem/router.

If I am in the same room with it, I get very fast wifi speed; unfortunately the distance and walls between it's spot and the den, causes significantly slower speeds, but still acceptable.

Buy your own router

I've owned this unit for over a year and would buy this unit again or whatever is best offered by ARRIS.

Make sure to turn off bridge mode on the modem router if you have a wireless router you'll be using in conjunction with this device
