Got this arris as a replacement for my dead netgear ac1900. After a year the ac1900 gave up. The arris seems to connect better with less drops. The ping rate is also better. Paired this with xfinity service and you’re ready to roll. Would definitely buy again

The modem works great and has ports for voice so I can have phone service as well.

Cable company was charging monthly rental for cable modem. I purchased this one which is exactly like the one I was renting. Very helpful Best Buy staff help me decide of what to get. I had purchased a back up battery for the rental and it fit perfectly in the one I purchased. Happy camper.

If you don't want to pay your internet carrier each month to rate their equipment I would say buy this combo modem & router. We get gig speed and it pays for itself in the first year.

We bought this to avoid monthly charges by Comcast. This is exactly the same as the one Comcast uses for their customers. I wish they/Arris has a version without WiFi as we always use our own Apple AirPort BTS which is so much better and secured and easy to use.

When my last device, from Netgear, broke down I spent $50 more to buy this model from Arris. So far not even a single day of net drop or troubleshooting. Only issue faced is with the setting up, It will be easy if you are a techy but most people would struggle with configuring.

Good hardware, but shortly after I installed it Xfinity changed my service and said it is not giving me maximum speed. I hadn't thought Xfinity would improve service when I decided to purchase instead of rent from them. It's a factor when deciding to rent forever or purchase.

It was not clear that the cable modem needed to be renamed before it world work. Comcast was no help. The instructions were not clear and I went on line to get the step by step installation setup instructions. The Modem works great now.

This product is wonderful, what makes it wonderful is the dual-band wifi.

Guys, it's a no brainier. If you have cable internet with phone, just purchase this modem. I reduced my monthly bill by 15 bucks. Xfinity now charges 15 bucks /mo rental fee. In matter of 2 years you've paid off the modem. Time fly's so sooner you do it more you'll save.

Cheapest choice in store for tv internet and voice task

Had to return due to not being compatible with optimum phone. Worked with internet but lacked phone compatible. Disappointed to return because provide good range on wifi signal when connected. Three story house placed in basement, reached the top floor.

I was tired of renting from Xfinity so I purchased this modem. I did follow the installation instructions, but could not get it to function. I called Xfinity support and was able to complete the install. I am very please with the unit. This model is for a land line phone as well as the internet.

Great modem would recommend it to anyone in the market

This is a state of the art triple play router for Comcast Service. Just like the one they would rent. Can handle fast data transfers, 4K etc and two phone lines. It’s a little pricey so for about $10-11/ month you can rent the same one in black and update it when a better one comes out.

Took a while for initial set up with X finity but i don't believe it was solely due to devce. Did have to contact Arris direct and ended up changing channel. Working fine since that initial set up. Phone servicing is fine as well. Big pricey but worth it once you get past installation.

I so glad I invested in getting this item for my Wi-Fi service, it was easy to setup in my Steaming Tv service and telephone service
