Works as good as any other modem was a good price.

I have read numerous reviews about this deck. I tried all the features on the deck on display at the store and can't wait to have it installed. It was purchased on Black Friday and will not be installed until January 2018. I will update this review once installation has been completed.

I was looking for an out of renting a modem from comcast, not only to save money, but to have a more up to date unit. This really fit the bill, it's not only a more up to date modem and saving me money on renting, but I now it's new and does what I need it to do.

We got this as replacement to an older arris. This one is able to use the full capibility of what we were supposed to be receiving. Con: Private WiFi can not be turned off. I use my own router to broadcast my WiFi and I’m not able to turn off the WiFi on this unit

I bought a new smart tv with all the bells and whistles but wasn't able to enjoy it because it kept losing the Internet connection. After replacing the router/modem provided by my cable company, and installing the Arris router/modem, the problem has been fixed. Yay! I'm thrilled.

This ARRIS modem is an improvement over the old model we had. Glad it was suggested.

We needed some support getting the phone, laptop & desk top working when we got the new modem, but it’s all good now. Our phone number changed on us, but we think it is a provider issue. I like the white modem.

Specific brand and model recommended by sales agent for Comcast. Was available at Best Buy. Upfront cost avoids monthly service charge from Comcast. Installed by Comcast, works fine.

Tired of renting from Comcast so invested in my own. I had been told by some that it was hard / time consuming to set up, etc. I did not find this to be true (I am not a tech wizard). I followed the directions and without issue got it up and working.

With modem rental continuing to go up, I decided I needed to purchase my own modem. The purchase price has made me change my mind int he past, but it was a change much needed. I am very pleased with the service I am getting as well as the monthly savings I will see in my bank account.

Works great with Comcast/Xfinity services. Compatible with TV, Internet and Phone. It is actually the same model they gave me originally only in white. Great way to save $14.00 /month on your bill.

Same manufacture, only problem was to get hold of comcast to program for all services took a week for activaction of phone. It is faster and better than rental equipment.

This product is compatible with the Xfinity Wi-Fi router and easy to install as Xfinity offers a free install wizard that migrates router name and password to the device and makes it seamless to your home Wi-Fi enabled devices.

I installed the Dual-Band Wi-Fi Router by myself and worked with Comcast over the phone to add the device to my account. Worked immediately and provides create coverage for my 2500 sq ft. home and 5 devices connected at once. I'd recommend changing the default security settings once the device is activated.

I received assistance from my Internet provider and the overall assistance from the modem provider “ARRIS”. They were patience and knowledgeable. I have no problem with this modem it works perfectly.

TL;DR - It's nice having one device as the phone, internet modem and wireless router but not when you can't stay connected to it. --- I have Xfinity. It's been around 8 months since we've installed the device. This was an upgrade from a Arris Surfboard SB6141 modem, TP-Link Archer C5 router and some old phone box. From what I can tell, this is essentially an updated version of the last gen Xfinity modem that looks like this one. Setup was easy, as I had a competent technician on the phone with me to activate it. Due to the location of cable ports in our house, I have the old TP-Link router wired up as an additional access point on the other side of the house. Pros: The phone works fine. Nothing to complain about there. Wireless coverage is solid. The range is pretty much what you'd expect from it. When it works, it's fast and we can max out the speed we're paying for (around 300 Mbps) even on wi-fi. This box also has MoCA built-in which is basically Ethernet over coax. It's nice if you have an older house the isn't wired for Ethernet but you have newer coax to accommodate for cable TV & internet. You'd have to buy a MoCA adapter for each room you'd want to use "Ethernet" in but I found it worth it versus having to run more cable all over the house as I can still saturate our 300 Mbps connection over it. I just replaced our power line adapters with MoCA adapters yesterday and haven't had any issues yet. Cons: The wi-fi drops. A lot. Some research helped me figured out that this is because of the PUMA6 chipset in the device. It doesn't matter if you're downloading large game updates or just browsing Twitter on your phone. Expect to get disconnected at one point or another if you're not on a wired connection. The web interface is painstakingly slow to load. Every time you go to a different sub-menu, it takes about a minute if it actually feels like working. Sometimes, I can't even get to the login page. I miss being able to access my settings from an app on my phone. There doesn't seem to be a way to change your DNS on this router, so you have to do it manually on every device if you don't want to use Xfinity's DNS. --- All in all, I think I'd be able to get over the web interface if the wi-fi actually worked. This is especially frustrating as we're all working from home right now and it just really kills everyone's productivity. Next time, I'm getting a separate modem and router like I did last time. Probably something Netgear.

Works great. Provides two hard wire outputs for phone, and four for Ethernet. Provides great, reliable Wi-Fi service throughout my two story home. Wish it cost less, but it does what I need it to do for me.

perfect for my tv in my living room, hard of hearing and with these, I haven't any problem at all with hearing the sound on the tv. I would recommend these to anyone that are looking for great sound and volume.
