I'm not cognizant of gadgets like this at all , but it's worth buying on account of the internet connection speed it provides. The installation instructions , and soon are user-friendly indeed.

Used to replace Motorola rental modem from Comcast after they increase their monthly rate to $13. Works well, but took awhile to set up. Make sure to set up your online account on ARRIS and that seem to get everything working for me.

Excellent piece of equipment. The only downside is that there are no instructions, so you have to be well educated about this type of device to make it work effectively.

It took a long time to activate the moteum. It took two days of calling Comcast representative to activate the moteum. So far it seems to be working. Initiatly best buys sent me a moteum that was already activate in someone else's name, I called them and they resolved my problem.

Best all in 1 router and modem I've ever owned Stop paying a monthly fee to the cable company I figure it will pay for itself in a couple of year's Do yourself a favor and get a calculator and do the math The cable companies make enough$$

This is very good product and works very well. I did have few issues with installing. It took longer then i expected to get online. I did have to read instructions several times to understand how to hookup to Comcast .Over all i would recommend this WI FI router.

I was told by Comcast that this would work when installing new cable but it never did work. I ended up trying 2 of them in case the first was defective. Not sure if this is due to the incompetence of the Comcast employee or that this product really didn’t work.

Good product. Needed to replace an old model and this replacement has been working well. Had to return to store though because I found same product cheaper on Amazon, same day.

Great device, struggled to get it attached to the network in the beginning just took a couple tries.

Great coverage for 2 story 2-bedroom townhouse. The major problem this device answered for me was that it works with Xfinity to allow both phone and cable modem AND includes a router. So instead of multiple devices, I got all the functionality in one.

I only wish it worked with other providers besides Comcast. Still to early to evaluate but a friend is VERY happy and has had theirs for several years.

We have used multiple routers in our home and have had to boost the signal to reach rooms despite putting the routers in the center of the house. This unit does the best job of coverage we have found, which has reduced the need for boosters and provided solid speeds for multiple devices.

This works much better than the much older modem that we had. Occasionally we lose the internet connection but it comes back on quickly. We are very pleased with the modem and also the Geek Squad who installed it.

This has saved me some money on the providers rental. It hasn’t improved anything other than that. The negative is that Comcast now blames every issue on the box. Plus I was on the phone for 2 1/2 hours with Comcast tech support from around the globe to get it to work.

This is the best way to save on your cable bill. The associates at best buy were also very knowledgeable and recommended the best replacement product for my Xfinity modem/router.

ended up buying another modem because this is docsis 3.1 or over to support higher bandwith speed. its kind of bulky too.

Been renting my modem off of cable for more years than I care to say. I got a media box and had severe buffering issues. All that has stopped since a installed this modem. It is fast, it increases wireless capabilties. And it was a seamless transfer.

Great wi-fi coverage for my house. We moved it from the basement to the upstairs, and we can now even use our wi-fi outside on the patio and while washing the car. Works great.

As advertised. Only negative is that although it is Xfinity capable it cannot handle wireless TV connections on Xfinity. You have to rent the Xfinity box to do wireless.

Works great after contacting customer service to fix problems that wouldn't allow it to function.
