The Arris Modem works well and looks nice on the desktop. There were problems in the set-up that required a Comcast home tech visit, but that may have more to do with Comcast's issues than with the Arris itself.

Doesn't include the battery backup, which must be purchased separately, but a good product that eliminated our need for a router. (didn't realize that was the problem when we updated our modem from Comcast). A solid modem/router combo.

nice router but it is not supporting 1000mbps speeds so if you care looking for 1000 mbps speeds then you have to go withDOCSIS 3.1

I purchased this cable router with telephone VOIP connections to eliminate Comcast's monthly rental charge and update my router. My expectations were met. My cable bill decreased and my Wi-Fi strength improved. Expensive but will pay off over the long run.

I bought this to replace my old router that I was leasing from my cable company. Overall, it is a good buy. But there is a con that the range doesn't reach as far as you would expect for the price.

Works great. Had issues with Comcast/ Xfinity getting it set up. They insisted on sending out a tech ($100 fee) before they would install it. Everything ok now.

I've only had this router connected for approximately 2 weeks and so far so good. I made the purchase after a recommendation from my cable provider to lower the cost of my bill

Good for the most part. Took a minute to get the network to show and then actually connect. Once the installation worked it’s been working okay but does lose signal occasionally.

This item was not what I wanted I was unhappy about it

Exactly what I needed. Had a little issue setting up but that was not the product's fault but my internet provider. Runs smoothly and have better service than before.

Had trouble connecting to internet service. Not sure it was falt of modem or service provider that streaming became difficult. It took the provider a day to get streamming service working.

This is a mixed review as I previously owned this unit and it worked great. We had an electrical storm that blew it out. I replaced it with another of the sam model, but it didn't work. Best Buy made the return easy.

The booklet that has connection instructions said wait till lights turn green which they didn't I called support and they told me that was wrong Product is great but do feEl company should update their instruction material

Arris is totally compete able with Xfinity modem. Also, it has exactly the same features as Xfinity modem. In the long run, you will save a lot of money to buy it instead of renting Xfinity modem.

My brother got one for our house and it's still running for over 2 years now and had no problem with it. So I decided to get the same for my place. Easy set up --it's plug and play.

This is a new product for me. It works much better than the former product I used. One negative is that you have to plug in to three different outlets. Otherwise, so far I like it.

Nice modem for the cost. I wanted to own my own and not rent.

Works great but does not have a guest wifi network which I use for our AirBnB rental so I had to switch to a different model

Works great except. it does not reach the other rooms in the house very well I can get 480 mbps right next to it but the other rooms in the house only get 50-60 mbps.

Good router speed is around 330 MB’s with many devices on the network. Automatically puts devices on the different frequencies to prevent bogging down of service.
