This combo unit does both very well, so I was able to drop the Comcast landline and install Ooma Viop, saving nearly $600 yearly.

I have Comcast for computer and Vonage for phone. Unfortunately, doesn't work for my phone. Salesperson didn't tell me that. Expensive for just computer.

replaces comcast rental

It did not come with battery backup but has slot for a unique battery. The battery from the comcast rental Ariris doesn't fit in this one

Great for what we needed!

The only con is that it’ll take over 10 mins to completely reset the modem.

Second Time May Be A Charm

The first one lasted only nine months, but the product warranty covered the replacement cost. I hope this second has more longevity. So far, I'm quite happy with it.
