Comcast needs to update the firmware right they shot there firmware so the router doesn't work right and then they can send you theirs for 13 dollars a month this is why they do it

Love the fact that buying this is saving me money that comcast charged me to rent every month. Also great that the modem and router are all-in-one.

This particular model is a little harder to activate because you have to contact Arris. Once activated it works great and it also allows you to use a backup battery.

I would recommend this cable wireless gateway to anyone who needs a wireless router that can handle telephone over internet. It has the latest 801.ac WiFi protocol and great documentation.

So far it works great with my Xfinity cable hook up. In a dark room it gives off a lot of light. Not crazy about the white color. Would have preferred black or gray color.

I recently signed up for Xfinity internet and VoIP Service. This company suggested I rent this device and purchasing this device saves me a lot of money. I get excellent reception.

This performs as well as the rented cable modem. However, it does give off a lot of light, so consider that when placing the modem. It could be used as a night light. Otherwise, I am happy with it.

Haven't had very long, but so far is working great. We have 2300 square feet and even upstairs we have very good reception. Happy with our purchase.

Better cable modem than the one Comcast charges you for.

Works well. Had to restart a couple times so far because we were losing service but not sure if it was because of the router or from xfinity. Wish the app was better.

I bought this for the son in-law and he is designer for advertising m. He has never complained about this unit so I’ll give a 5.

This appears to be a well-built quality product. My only complaint is that the set-up instructions could be clearer and more detailed.

Before we purchased this, we had dropped calls and shoddy Wifi. Now, we are very happy with our phones, internet, and Wifi connections.

I was using Comcast's Arris Cable modem with VOIP phone jacks and paying a hefty rent on it. With this purchase I get the same features without having to pay rent.

The dual band is working quite nicely with all of our technology devices. We have well over 10 devices to run through our WiFi and have had no issues. Highly recommended.
