    I purchased this item because of previous reviews being it was a modem and router. However, for the cost, the output stinks and my sons computers both lagged horribly, even after I increased my download speed! Their claim is with Wi-Fi speeds up to 1600 Mbps and a 1.2 GHz processor, it has the power to support multiple devices for streaming and downloading anywhere in your home and that is an inaccurate statement because I have a gaming system on the 2nd level of my home and one in the basement and downloading anything is a nightmare!

    I bought this modem/router combo to try to save space in our home and worked great for the first couple weeks. After that the wifi would keep on shutting off and had a lot of issues trying to connect. I then returned it and bought a different model.

    I bought this on the recommendation of my internet provider. Also the salesman said these were real good. I have had connection issues since I bought this and I will be returning it. Going back to Netgear
