Purchased when our Internet carrier made some upgrades...for some reason it has had to be restarted several times. Seems to be good when it is working.

This is probably the worst modem/router combo I have ever purchased. It keeps cutting off & the range is no good at all. I called Arris & all they tell me to do is reset it to factory settings & it works for a day or so & right back to cutting off. I only had this for 6 months. I tried as much as possible to not return this because I know Best Buy is going to give me the run around. But I’m going to have to try.

I purchased this on recommendation of clerk. I informed him I had 200mb from Suddenlink. Several months later Suddenlink informed me that this router/modem was not capable of handling the higher speed as it is not a 16/4 channel. I called Best Buy and was told that I was just SOL as it had been 3 to 4 months since purchase. No offer to even trade in on what I need. I will not purchase electronics at Best Buy again!!!

Consistently drops internet connection on laptop. Works ok with other devices. Extremely frustrating.

Not only was the WiFi signal very weak in a small house but it dropped out several times a day and the unit had to be reset.

It works great if your right I front of it but doesn't have a great range especially for a 2 story home you get no wifi signal.

I bought this last week and has so many wifi network drop, especially the 2.4 band. Will return and go for another brand

Didn’t have a good WiFi signal. Hard time getting connected from one end of the house to the router on the other end

Easy to set up but does not have cover a lot of area. home is 3000 sq ft 2 floors but signal covers only two thirds

Very unreliable wifi connection, the wifi connection drops 4 times a week and I have to reset the wifi modem every time.

I have a 1800 sq ft. home and this product is slow when I'm at the other end of the house. I don't like it at all.

I have a 3 story including basement and the covrrage of the router wasn't good eben on the lever the router was on

This modem randomly disconnects and cannot be found by any device in my house.

Doesn't work well with chromecast or Google home .

I bought one of these to replace a failing modem/router. The first one I returned to the store after a tech told me it was not functioning properly. I got a replacement. Same problem -- would not function correctly. Now stuck with an expensive paperweight I can't use -- and the money I've had to put out to replace it with an ISP-owned unit -- that works well.

If you a gamer this one is not for you! Only 2 ports and not as fast with WiFi as the box list.

Does an ok job for the price. Security cameras kept disconnecting from it

Not a great product. It kept dropping the wi-fi connection, ended up returning it to Best Buy.

Still has a slow speed even though we have high speed access

Had a tough time enabling the connection. Was not compatible with cable provider.
