Hunk of Unreliable Junk

Please just rent from the service provider and get a good wireless access point/router. You can find mine at the goodwill. Good Bye Sorrows... I mean Surfboard!

most likely defective out of the box

Constantly dropped wifi connection several times a day and other issues. Would have returned sooner but my schedule didn't permit. Replaced with Netgear Nighthawk AC1900. First time ever my wifi speed matched my ethernet speed on Ookla. Guess you know my recommendation.

Worked great....for about a week!

I returned it and bought a different brand and I am getting 100MBs over WiFi and almost 200MBs on my desktop. Deeply disappointed in Motorola. Oh I bought a Netgear. I've never liked them but I'm super happy with what I have now.

This router would not allow me to game together, or allow more than one PS3 online with same game. Talked to PlayStation as well as Arris Help line with no one being able to help. So I bought a Netgear and everything works as should.

I specifically asked for a modem that would work with fios. He said he has this surfboard and he has fios. Come to find out there are NO fiber optic modems. Just the one that you get from Verizon. A lot of wasted time and now I have to return it.
