    This has proven to be a really good router and modem combination. It worked great right out of the box. It appears to be very powerful and everything stays connected without failure. Buying this outright was better for me than renting.

    Set up was easy as long as you read the instructions. My old modem was giving me fits. This one works a bit quicker and doesn't continually drop.

    I was looking for a product to purchase that met Time Warner requirements that would enable me to have wi-fi. My goal obviously was not to have to pay a monthly rental fee to Time Warner. When the Time Warner Tech saw what I had purchased he was impressed and said that it was a high end product.

    I chose this unit because it was on sale and is a dual band. I no longer pay Comcast a monthly modem rental fee. The Arris is fast and was easy to install. In only 10 months it will pay for itself. I'm very satisfied.

    Needed to replace modem and router after lightning strike. Went for combined well Rex unit. Easy set up with Comcast and computer. Works great. Limited range compare to previous router. If that works for what you need- it’s ok.

    This item has presented issues in working with Cox provider, for me. Signal strong for my WiFi but challenges for desktop at times. It seems thar signal is stable now so have decided to keep it.
