I switched to Xfinity recently and instead of leasing their modem for around $10 a month I decided to shop Best Buy, the associate was very helpful since I did not do my research and he explained it to me and recommended this product, not only that but the cashier matched the price from Amazon also. I have been using it for couple months and is working great.

I purchased this item as a replacement for an aging modem/router that was not working well in wifi mode. Purchased this modem /router on the reputation of Arris as being a well respected manufacturer. The modem/router was very easy to install. Two things happened that I was not happy with. The most important concern was the frequency of buffering during a stream. The other concern was that the modem/router was really hot. This concerned me because the excessive heat is not good for the chip set. With that being said, I returned the item and replaced it with a Motorola Router/Modem. Haven't had a problem with streaming with the replacement modem.

Easy to hook up and works like a charm, would definitely recommend

I installed this in my fathers 1100 square foot cape cod style home. He has Time warner cables internet service and pays for the 15 Mbps. I've speed tested it all over his house upstairs downstairs and on the main level and it seems to keep speeds up around 17 Mbps even during peak times a day. I'm overly satisfied with all of Arris' products as I use them in my home as well!

I bought this to replace an older router/modem combo and saw a significant increase in speed throughout our 2 story 1100 sq. ft. condo. It was recommended by the Best Buy rep in the store as one that was compatible with my cable company system.

I use Cox connection. One option was to take the Router from Cox on monthly rental. I realized that owning my own Router would be much cheaper (over 12 months time period). ARRIS router served its purpose perfectly, without even a single trouble so far. My only expectation from it was reliability which it completely met.

Great price, good performance and small footprint for a router.

My apartment is about 850 sq ft. This modem/router is not only a great price but have no complaints. Very easy to set up. Prefect for my needs yet they are not too bandwidth intensive. I have a handful of smart devices. I share the apt with my girlfriend and we are both students who do not do much more than some casual streaming and web surfing.

After doing intense research, I found that this product had very good reviews. In my case I am using it in a small apartment and the coverage is excellent in all the rooms. the installation was fast and I did not even have to call Comcast to activate it. I can say that I have connected all my devices and I have used them simultaneously without problems.

The product seems to be working fine. Unfortunately my computer was starting to die when I purchased it so I haven't been able to test the full potential.

This is a better modem/router than the base model, which I had before. It worked better for me, but I still had to get an extender to have wifi reach to the opposite end of the house (quite a distance). I would recommend this modem/router if the person doesn't have a big house that they want to have full coverage for.

Bought this instead of renting from my cable company. I have been using it for over a month with no problems. It does an exceptional job.

I believe this combo router/modem was a good purchase. After speaking with the fantastic salesman in store, I am going to save money for several years by not paying the $10.00/month rental fee from the cable company! It works just as well as their rental, so why waste your money? I would recommend this product for anyone who wants to lower their cable bill!
