Modem and Xfinity

Other people I know have this device and they say it works ok. I bought it because I did not want to lease equipment from Comcast. The tech who came out to install service was not able to get it to work properly. The device only connected to certain websites like youtue.com. I tried both Comcast and Arris technical support, but they failed to get it to work. Both companies blamed each other for this problem. Arris was telling me I needed to request IPV6 from Comcast. Comcast was telling me I would not have this problem if I had leased a device from them. They claimed that just because Arris advertises "compatible with Comcast" on their box, doesn't mean it is compatible.

Works well

I was able to set it up quickly and works well with my ps4. My only frustration with it is the short range of signal, signal is strong in the room that it's located but other rooms in the house have limited signal.
