If you aren't getting 300mb I would recommend this, had problems with my provider and also the modem itself. Had to return and get a higher one to help me out. All in all its a good one for the price.

You know, we can complicate anything in this country - first you need a modem, then you need a router. Why not one unit? This fills that bill, and best of all it was easy to set up.

I got this router for my 50 mbps internet (I don't need much speed...I don't stream or use internet much at all), and it works amazingly for my 1 laptop, and 2 cell phones, and my TV (Wife uses it). It's very good about staying connected, and is very dependable. Good product.

I bought this because it seemed simple to only have one box instead of two. but let me tell you, its more of an aggregation than anything. the 2.4ghz signal would disappear at least twice a day, so I would have to keep resetting the box. the speeds were great when it was working. the 5ghz channel never had any issues but as everyone knows the 5ghz does not have much range so it was useless on the other side of the house. I finally returned this product and got a modem and router separate. never getting a combo again.

My NetGear modem/router simply died, so I brought it to Best Buy for the rebate offered if I turned it in for a replacement.. The rep sent me home with a NetGear modem, which did not work upon set up because it was only the modem, not the modem/router combo. A second trip landed me this Arris. Setup was easy, and my internet provider rep pointed out I could divide my devices between the two wifi ranges on this device. One is a shorter range wifi with a stronger connection; the other is a longer range wifi with a weaker connection. Overall, the Aris is adequate. The wifi does fade in and out occasionally, and be forewarned - this mother runs hot and has colorful bright lights. Apparently, per reviews this is normal, but I don't like it, since I live in Phoenix, AZ, and I don't need more heat in any room in my house. I'll run it to the end of it's useful life, but I would not replace with the same model. The price is right, so if you're on a budget, this will do the job.

I was looking around for a combo router/modem to buy, was tired of renting from the Cable Co. When I found this little gem online & on sale I snagged it! It's got plenty of speed for my large house. I've even got a Blu-ray player upstairs in a far corner bedroom that streams Netflix and I have no issues at all. I run multiple electronics as well as multiple cable boxes and I don't have any problems so far. I've had it for about a month now, no issues. Was super easy to hook up, I just had to reset all my electronics to the new WiFi router but no biggie. It's very compact too. Highly recommend this item.

I wasn't sure what router I wanted for my home, but a best buy employee recommended this for everyday tv watching, non-gaming usage. It's great so far, no problems with set up.

Was looking for a modem/router combination for a new house. Needed to cover about 2100 sq ft plus patio area. Was considering Eero but Best Buy sales rep said that this would do the trick and he was right.........at about $275 dollars less. Good product and easy to install.

Didn’t know much about cable modems before walking into BestBuy but the girl that helped me recomended this one. I could not be happier, it was easy to set up and i get great WiFi coverage throughout the whole house. I would defiantly recommend this modem / router to anyone.

I got this mostly because i give the wrong info by my sell person at the store. it wasn't what i wanted i trying to get one of the next two device up from this one... I this one back it mostly not offer what needed plus it not on sell. when got home find out the sale person was wrong.. i return this one the next day.. i have high-speed with cox this device work well for the one day that had it but it mostly a wireless and 2 Ethernet port. I mean if you don't if your don't have problem with not some extras then this would be good modem to have!

great small duel band router to use in your home. It is fast and small it does not take up a lot of space. easy to set up.

Easy installation, works like it's supposed to. I helped my boyfriend picked this out because he had to get a new internet set up for his room. It works really well and it's easy to set up

I'd did a little research online and was going to buy a cheaper unit. While in the store a blue shirt offered assistance. Based on my needs. he recommended this unit instead. He explained why I would spend an extra $40. I bought this and installed it myself. Easy to do. The worst part was contacting Comcast (and that was not too bad) 4 stars because of the range- I don't have the coverage/range I did with the rental from Comcast. I have the modem at one end of the house and I loose signal at the far side of the house in the basement. Photo attached is the new modem compared to the Comcast rental. Quite a bit smaller.

Far from an expert, I just needed something simple, compact, reasonably priced and easy to hook up. Works well with my Cox cable. Great value for the price.

I like going to Best Buy when I know what I need to buy but have no idea of the best technology. Sales personnel always answer my questions and give options and recommendations when you ask. I didn't want to rent a modem for internet at my home--modem solved.

This router is ok. It's a step above the original one that Time Warner (Spectrum) gives you, but it's still pretty slow when there are multiple devices connected to it. I would suggest to anyone that has 6 or more devices connected to it at one time to spend the extra money on a better router. You will be happy you did. However, if you don't use a ton of internet or only connect 2 or 3 gadgets to it, it would be perfect for you. Just know what your needs are before you purchase it.

This product was surprisingly easy to install. It does seem a bit slower than the cable-issued router/modem, but I don't know if it's necessarily an issue with this product.

Very easy to set up (I am a non technical person) and seems to be working very well. I would recommend this as easy set up.

This product is great! It is a little pricier than the other ones available in its category but we are happy with our purchase. It was easy to install and we haven't had any issues with it. Be sure to price match, you can get a couple of extra dollars off if you do.

It is not suitabe for Xfinity internet modem & phone. It does not have enough jacks or plugs. I like the color and that it is tiny but wont work for me.
