When I replaced with this model I have had no problems with dropped service or with noticeable drop of speed of service.

Decent cable modem and wifi

The config of the product is flexible and some adjustments had to be made. I returned the first one thinking something was wrong, no wifi signal. The second one was doing the same thing so I called arris. In no time he walked me through a decent configuration. Make sure to call arris tech before returning to store. (On instructions).

Works with Time Warner not the best range

My only complaint is that in my 750sq ft apartment I lose a band of signal when not in the living room (where the router is).
