Great modem and router combination

I chose to purchase instead of renting one from Suddenlink. It has worked flawlessly thus far. Wifi is excellent. I needed reliable wifi for when I work at home to connect to my work VPN and perform all the functions I would perform at work at home. So far so good! I would highly recommend this product.

Not Xfinity Compatible (so they say...)

Don't get me wrong, it is an awesome modem as my parents have a similar one with their fiber speed. However, bought this on store recommendation that it will work with Comcast, but when tech came out, he suggested the NETgear instead, which was about 30 dollars higher. Weirdly enough, the netgear seem to stream fine. It also had "Xfinity compatible" on the box so maybe Xfinity only endorses only certain modems? I don't know. But what I do know is that the black knights, will emerge victorious, once agai....wait..i got carried away with independence day movie. Nutshell: Good specs, but just not for my needs.
