I bought the Arris SURFboard to save money on my cable bill and upgrade an older router. I have 10 devices on it and have no problems. Also my upload and download speeds are 2 times faster.

purchased this router 1 yr ago and works great. but then power cable got loose to the point the power connection would cut in and out. good thing I purchased the warranty. since they no longer made this model , had to get a new model. shame cause I liked the white one that matched with the decor in my house. overall still a great router. if they still had this one when I had to replace it, I would have purchase same model.

Loving the 2 in 1 router/ modem. Good range and handles high end speeds for mulriple devices at once.

it was easy to setup right out of box.Smooth function with no glitches and hangup over previous modem.

My older Internet Gateway kept losing my internet connection. Whenever I travel I have several cameras in the house so I can check on my cats, but with the older one I'd lose the connection so my cameras were useless. Went away for two weeks right after buying this Modem/Router combo and was able to establish reliable connections for the whole time I was away.

This is a fast router. It is very easy to install and better than routers provided by Comcast.

This was a great choice to buy, fast and pretty much plug and play. I had to call TWC so they can activated at their end, but the call lasted less than 10 minutes. It will be capable to handle 100 Megs of speed when the service becomes available in the near future, so I should be all set when the time comes! No more unplugging the modem to restart and get the internet signal back, speed is noticeable faster! Highly recommended!

We purchased this modem in order to replace our existing Comcast modem and avoid monthly rental fees. We also had poor WiFi range in our basement, which now is no longer an issue.

I did a lot of research before buying this modem. Really easy to set up and great speeds.

After reading reviews, decided on this router. Best Buy met the best on line price I found and I purchased it. All good. Wifi range is better than my old unit.

Works amazingly on the first floor. Minor issues with connectivity on the second floor.

Opted Comcast's self-install and to provide my own modem/router. For a non-techie, mature female, there were a lot of cords, devices & steps when all boxes were open! Customer support patiently waited while I found an active connection point in home through to all devices online. And registered my product for warranty purposes. Speed noticeably improved over AT&T same mbps. Very happy customer!

I usually don't spend a lot of time doing reviews, but I had to mention my displeasure with this item. I don't know if it is the beam steering techno garbage, but none of the iphones in my house stay connected for longer than a few minutes. Ipad only loads a page after it times-out at least once. Computers connections are random. Anything that is not in a line of sight to the router drops out. I disabled the beam steering and it seems to be holding connections slightly better. I replaced a 10 year old linksys router and this is much less reliable. i have a small house and was expecting good connectivity, but this unit is highly disappointing. Pick something else! I gave it 2 stars only because it is fast when it holds a connection long enough to test the speed.
