Speeds seem good, but the range isn't great

It was easy to install and the speeds are better than my older modem. The issue is that I barely get a connection upstairs. I have the modem on the main level. My old modem didn't have an issue with this, but the range on this one isn't as good.

Excellent product; all in one for Comcast

This is the perfect item for comcast internet subscribers. I agree with previous reviews that during the initial set up; you may have to go through several comcast technicians on the phone before you get one that can set up your connection properly. Do not give up and it is unnecessary to have a house call; just end the call and recall to speak to someone else. Also make sure the technician saves the set up or you will have to start over again!

Decent but probably over priced modem.

However if I am going to pay as much as I did for a modem like this I would expect to get EXCELLENT signal strength no matter where I am throughout my apartment. Good signal strength inside a duplex apartment does not cut it for the price I paid!
