Excellent router that doe better than the Comcast router you pay a rental fee monthly for!!

Purchased a new PC product when my old system hard disk went bad. The Geek Squad not only was able to transfer all of my old files, but advised me when I wanted to upgrade my router/modem to a WIFI system as well. They also assisted with uploading my printer drivers and assisting in connecting all of my peripherals. Great experience!

Have had it for a few days. Much better than my last modem. Hope it still stays that way.

Didn't need to set up a wifi password. All done, plug and play ready. Just let the cable guy install it.

I used it and it worked well for my devices but sometimes would be a little odd for my laptop. I realized it was because my internet was too strong for it. But it did add a lot of distance around my house for my phone and iPads

My router failed so I had to purchase a new one and decided to change to a gateway - easy to setup and use

This cable modem and router works as expected. The setup however requires some know how and tech knowledge to secure it. I'm not a fan of the online portal you have to use to do so. It would be overwhelming if I wasn't a techie.

Built in wi-fi is terrible. Phone and laptop in same room would not stay connected. Returned it and bought the Netgear Nighthawk. It is much better and more expensive, but was highly recommended from the Geek Squad guys at the counter.

The modem was very easy to setup and get the home network running.

Works well with brighthouse- although it doesn't have a good range of a WiFi. Might need a WiFi extender. I get 100 MBPS but WiFi drops to about 30 in the adjoining rooms.

Modem and Router combo works great. Replaced Docsis 2.0 unit so the big benefit was increased speed.

Never had any issues with Best Buy products and this is not any different. Great range.

This router/modem combo works with Comcast/Xfinity. I bought it because my rented modem and router were cutting out and were too expensive to rent. So far, I have had no connectivity issues whatsoever (after a month of constant use). Works well for browsing, gaming, typical internet use. Installation was easy although the Xfinity end was a hassle (adding it to my account took hours). Still, it's going to pay for itself pretty quickly.

I wanted this combination device to save space while serving as both cable modem and wireless router. Motorola makes a solid product that has operated much as expected. The Wi-Fi range is not great, but I've had no problems with overall bandwidth.

I think the price is a little bit expensive but it works fine. Makes it easier for who needs a router and a modem. The security system is pretty good and makes your internet safe of intruders.
