they matched the price with amazon so I definetly got the best available deal! I've got the store warranty deal which is good for 2 years, for a few extra dollars. I have self installed the router, it works just fine.

Great review to know about before purchase finding moten does work just as well as Comcast moten .

Not capable to go with infinity/Comcast although it said so on box. Ended it up returning after countless calls with Motorola and infinity to get it working. Neither one could figure out the problem.

The modem/router combination for less than $150 was a great choice, but the range could definitely be better.

It turns out that modems and routers have advanced since 2004.... I have been using the same one for a while - in fact it was 2 different pieces. One modem and one wireless router. I like new stuff and it's a bonus when it is easy.

only problem they could put better installation instructions my cable company was great and we got it installed and it's perfect for my needs and it's great not to have to spend $15 dollars a month renting equipment

Been using the product for 3 months now, I recommend it for you for home use awesome output and very fast.

We have this in our living room and it provides strong wifi signal throughout and into every room.

I would recommend getting this product if you need a router that will be used for connecting a lot of devices

Bought this because Cox required a Docsis 3.0 modem in order to ensure stable connection. Got this one due to decent price compared to others and recommended from a friend. It works great and has a decent WiFi range.

I purchased this in order to get internet in my home. It works so far and well with what I have.

No issues setting up the new system. Have been using this item for a few weeks now - Working as expected.

I'm no expert, so I can't speak to the technical aspects of this, but it does just what I need a modem/router to do: work. My connection seems strong at all times, set up was quick and easy, and no problems using it with Comcast.

I returned it and went with Comcast modem as I was getting very less speed and frequent disconnections.

Have had three different Motorola Surfboard modems in the past, and they've all been great -- thought I'd take the risk with this one and get the modem/wifi router 2-in-1 -- big mistake -- Motorola is great with cable modems, but no so much in wifi or routing/LAN admin -- After calling my ISP to provision the modem, I went to access the web console to configure, and changed its default local IP to the subnet I prefer -- it tool 5 mins before it applied (in the meantime, I'm calling my ISP thinking the provisioning was unsuccessful) -- finally took, and I could access -- ok -- configured wifi -- successfully connected all my devices in the house -- wifi glitched out after an hour -- had to reset the device (which resets the modem every time since it's a 2-in-1) -- ok -- Next, DHCP table would not show all my devices, even though all were connected -- ok glitchy -- proceeded to create 2 DHCP reservations -- 10 mins later, the 2 reservations I created disappeared from the config!! Called Motorola about this, and they said yeah it should not be doing that -- could have been a faulty device, but then read some bad reviews on this device on amazon -- sorry Motorola, I still love your cable modems, but will steer clear of your 2-in-1 devices!

I think this item is usually rated pretty good, but I had to return mine as it was a defective until.

I'm not a tech type person so I was glad Astound installed for me. Can't notice any difference in speed.

This modem/router is a good product, I just feel there's better value out there than this one.

You only need to plug it to the cable outlet and call ComCast and service will be running in 5 minutes. No problems so far, It has powerful wifi signal. I recommend friends to buy it instead of having the separate modem+ router

Chose this because of the sales person in the store suggested it. He new that it worked well with the provider that I had chose. I thought it was over priced but it worked well out of the box. No complaints
