Our house is over 2500 sqft, this modem can't reach the rooms in the back, so I had to buy a wireless "repeater" to boost the connection in the back rooms. It works well.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.the wifi is bad because this is in the garage which is a living room now and well, the signal reach the living room but the internet slow even with 4 bars and up stairs slow signal as well... even the wifi range sucks. basically, this only good for modem and not wifi even though up stairs shows 85 signal and will not connect most of the time.

Having some issues
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I don't know if it is my ISP, the modem or the router but the IT guy at my ISP said you are behind the eight ball whenever you purchase a modem/router combo. I disabled the built in router and went back to using my old router and now I have to buy a signal extender because speeds slow down dramatically on wireless just a few feet away.

2 in 1 modem / router

The 2/1 unit works great and would highly recommend it. Not only works great, it takes up less room since it is just one unit.

Internet great, WIFI awful
