I have a hard time accepting this "new world" where everybody including government wants your money, but they want more and more for less service. I was in my own business ( and still am ) for forty plus years on straight commission where I had to service customers for the money I made. Now it is all self service where you can spend hours trying to figure something out on the internet and getting a customer service rep to help with a product even costs you more. The world is getting greedier and greedier and wants more for less now. This is for a Motorola C78D3 Modem Router unit. Motorola won't help me set up a security key and my internet provider says with this product you can not change the security key. We will see if Best Buy will give me a refund. Is all this feed back for "Show or Real" ?

BUILT CHEAP. poor performance, waste of money. Do not buy.

While setup was quick and easy, I loss connectivity frequently.

Works better than my last one, very minimul or no signal drop

The documentation provided with this item has errors in it (most grievously, in the user name/password for administrator functions). Having trouble connecting it wirelessly to Apple TV as well (I think it is the cable modem and not the Apple TV but haven't figured that out yet).

Not compatible with all the wireless devices in the home.

bought the modem to transfer to TIME Warner cable.

Okay modem gets drop signal from time to time!!!!!

Did not have a jack for telephone for the triple play account.

Turned out to be a faulty modem. Get warranty!!!!!

It says dual band but doesn't broadcast as dual band

While I did like having a 4 port LAN connection for my video an home theater, the WIFI signal, with no external antennas, was lost within 100 feet of moving around.

Good speed with Comcast internet. Seasonal service for 1.3years then 11 month regularly. Failed 4 months out of warranty. Most electrical component should last longer than that.

Honestly, I dunno if its this product or the internet. Its seems to not work to often. Very frustrating. Was told by internet company this may happen but I was cheap. In the end this is a waste of money. Works but not worth aggression.

Initially I loved this thing but I quickly realized that it likes to just loose connection all the time or need to be rebooted. I have done everything I can to make it work but I don't think it's going to happen.

I have a 1 bedroom apartment and i have trouble getting wifi in the next room over in the living room and if im on my balcony, forget it. I would get an average around 30mbps in the bedroom and 10-15mbps in the living room. I have the router hooked up in my bedroom. It was past 15 days by the time i realized what junk it was so it was a waste of 100 dollars. I ended trying the netgear n600 modem/router and its perfect now. I get the 100mbps im paying for now. My direct tv cable box is hooked up through wifi in my bedroom and it always lost connection every other few days. Not anymore with the netgear.

I bought this for a two bedroom apartment and couldn't get a signal in the next room. Returned....
