Supported product
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This device is a decent device when it works. I've had about 30 MB download speeds and about 5 MB speeds through my cable company. Although the device works fairly well most of the time there are times where it may have a dropped connection. Not sure if that is due to the modem or the cable company. However this device is supported through my cable company and I've had my random issues resolved. Would I recommend it? That depends on how much knowledge you have in troubleshooting. If you are well versed in networking and tech it shouldn't be too difficult.

Very good product
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This modem and router combination unit is very easy to install and does not take much space. Blows my Linksys away
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Was almost turned off by the reviews but I needed something better than my Linksys WRT54G2 which I had already sent back for replacement and the replacement was worse than the original. Was on the phone with COX Cable for about 20 mins while we set it up and it was quite easy. So far, so good...time will tell.

Two great products for one price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was told by Xfinity that I needed a new router that was a docsis 3.0 in order to receive the fast internet that I had upgraded to. I had an old router and modem that worked fine at the slower speed (I had 3 mbps download speed and .8 mbps upload speed.) After searching and comparing prices I found that this had both of the new devices I needed built into one. It did not make sense to pay more for two separate devices when I buy one device that costs less. It is also one less device to set up and maintain. I now have a download speed of 28 mbps and upload speed of 5 mbps. The only thing difficult about setting up was waiting on hold for a tech from xfinity to activate the device which took about a half an hour.

Good Product at the fair proce
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Hi, I got this product with the Price match guarantee program from Best buy. I read the reviews online before purchasing the same. This device was pretty good and over all worked for me. I found the range is not that great specially when you have 3 BHK apartment and not placing at the center of the apartment. I added 1 routers to boost up the signal strength to my one room which was at little distance from this Router. No complains yet. Thanks

Great router
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had this router for about six months and it works great. Easy to setup but a little difficult to configure. Once I configured the settings and setup my ssid never had one issue with this. Great router super fast speeds.

Really fast router
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After removing phone from Xfinity service i no longer needed to pay their $8 router rental. After extensive review of compatible routers this one seemed to be the best. I have a really high internet packed because EVERYTHING in my house is smart (TV, TIVO, PS4, Blu-Ray players, Receivers, Nest, Insteon ETC) i was doing about 105 Mbps jacked in and 60 Mbps on wifi with comcast router now i am doing 127 mbps and 82 Mbps with this router. . needless to say i love it.

An excellent upgrade to my old modem and router
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A good combined unit. Basic installaiton was quick and easy. Fast and reliable connection with COMCAST. Wireless coverage throughout the house is as good as my old Linksys router that used a remote external antenna. While there is some built-in HELP, it is not very comprehensive. Some of the more technical options are difficult to setup without additional knowlege.

Low WiFi Signal
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Got this router to replace Comcast rental, suppose to get signal up to 33 ft, at around 25 ft it gets low signal. Sometimes I get 1 bar signal. Sometimes 2 bar signal. At one point it dropped the signal. Comcast rental was better, looks like it won't penetrate well through walls, as soon as I get out of bed, it gets 3 WiFi bars, easy set up, has guest WiFi. Only down side is the wifi signal being weak. I returned it then I bought the next one up Motorola router the sbg6782ac which costs $219.00 . It's the next generation of technology (ac) I will do a review on that one after a week of using it. Right now, it's working great, no problems with wifi so far, has a guest wifi,5Hz option for faster speed when closer to router. It was either this newer generation Motorola router or the xfinity router that some best buy store sale, (the rental from comcast). I recommend buying this and trying it at your home, if you like it keep it, if not get another. Look for my review on the sbg6782ac.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Upgraded from my old Moto SBG900 internet speeds increased from 15mb/s to 25mb/s. Easy to setup with Comcast had no issues at all. Only downside is it doesn't support custom firmware.

Great Modem
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Swithed from DSL to Cable and had this Modem running quicker than the time it took to connect the power and Cable. No Losses of Connectivity unlike QWEST, and I get 5.76mbs Download/ .97mbs uploads. The modem was a little pricey...thats why I took away one star. I ordered online for pick-up and saved $15.00 and was ready for pick-up in less than 1 hour.... Thanks again BEST BUY!!!

Great modem despite poor reviews
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was afraid to buy this modem based on the terrible reviews here, but i decided to try it out anyway and i could not be happier. I had it working in less then 10 mins out of the box. Easiest set up ever (and i have very little computer knowledge). Great reception from across my apartment. Motorola also has great tech support. This modem is amazing.

reasonably priced, space saver
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had been renting a moden from a cable/internet provider for the past 3 years while the wireless router was for free. then after years of use, the wireless router needed to be replaced. I was told by our cable/internet provider that it will cost us this time. It made us decide to purchase our own. Motorola two in one modem plus router was the best bet. it saves a space for two units and to buy to separate units will cost more. This motorola is a good buy for us.
