This modem/wireless router works well. We are saving $14 a month as we own this and do not rent from our cable company.

The set up for my Motorola modem/router was very easy to set up. I just followed the directions and bang I was on the internet in no time. I would recommend Motorola all in one to every body.

I bought the SBG6580 a few months ago to replace an aging Linksys WCG200 gateway. The Linksys had been fine, and it got me addicted to the all-in-one concept, rather than having a separate modem and wireless router. I found it very easy to set up.

This modem is great! Running 2-PS3's, NETFLIX/AMAZONPRIME, & a DELL Computer...NO PROBLEM!! Highly recommend; replacement for cable service modem, saves me $6/mo so it pays for itself also!

Good solid connection and it pays for itself by opting out of comcasts rent box fee of 12 dollars a month. Even the comcast guy asked me where he could get one when he came to install the internet! I am the only person who uses it so I can't tell you how it would handle a household of devices. Also I have a 1 bedroom apartment so its efficacy may be different in a household

I bought this a few months ago and as of today 27 March 2015 it has worked flawlessly I had no problem installing it and I would recommend this product to anyone looking to buy a router, owning it is better then renting it from the cable company

Pretty good for the price. Beats renting one from my internet provider and has not given me any major problems. Had a small issue with one computer getting access to the internet but may not have been the router. Still haven't figured it out nor do i care too because all my other devices work great with this motorola product.

I had to replace my previous cable modem wireless combo as the wireless portion died. I really didn't want to buy two separate items so I got another 2-in-1 solution. I have had better a better internet connection and the setup was easy.

I had been renting my cable modem from Cox for years. I got tired of the monthly payment on something that had been paid for years ago. I selected the Motorola Surfboard because I was familiar with it. Installation was easy. No problems so far.
