This router/modem unit fits very nicely on our entertainment unit and does not require very much space. It also works flawlessly!

This wifi modem/router is great. By purchasing one....I will save me 12.99 per month by not using one from my internet carrier.

My husband bought this after researching many others...he loves it.The internet is much faster abd there has been no buffing.

There were some problems in setting up this device. The "Quick Start Guide" had the default password in the "Start the Gateway Web Manager" part of the guide as being "password". This is wrong it should be "motorola". Recommending this to a friend would have to include this correction.

Better range than my previous wireless router (a Belkin) - was fairly painless to enable with Time Warner Cable Internet service - I have had to restart it a couple of times though

It was easy to install, the only problem I had was setting it up with Time Warner. A phone call to tech service and it was done!

The modem delivers on its promise about high-speed performance—no complaints there. However, performance deteriorates quickly as the user moves away from the modem. I recommend using the modem in small homes only. The device is excellent for streaming movies, video games, etc. simultaneously from multiple devices. I cannot provide data, but from pure observation and 6+ devices constantly drawing from the modem, I can attest to no lag and zero performance issues. Motorola includes also a built-in, commercial grade firewall that secures data and privacy—you cannot go wrong with that! Again, the only disappointment is the limited range with the WiFi.

Great product for the price having on mind that combine a modem and a router in one unit. Space saver and very effective.

Fixed some issues I had with consistant connectivity with the internet. In addition it was able to maximize my internet speed.

Have had no problems in the 4 months I have owned it and love that this is two in one.

This modem/wireless router is a great addition to the networking at my house. For the price you can't find a better deal.

I was having trouble with my ipads losing signal this modem really helped with that and my speed has increased tremendously

At the time of purchase it was so I didn't have to rent from the internet provider but little did I know the modem was not compatible with the provider so I had to return it. What brought me to buy the modem though was that there were good reviews on it.

Very easy to set up pretty much plug and go has an issue with kicking us off the network and immeduately letting us back on and forbcertain phones the signal is weak

Worked well at first, but now drops signal frequently. Other reviews have mentioned this problem and listed possible fixes, I will update after I try these, but for the money and hood reviews I've seen, I expected better.

Router is a great buy, it's fast speed and easy to set up with local cable provider. Wifi range is good for large homes, it can reach from the front to the back without problems.

I bought this because I was moving into a new place and didn't want to pay a rental fee through Comcast. I figured if I'm already going to get $10-$20 tacked on to my cable bill a month, I might as well buy my own router/modem where I know what my quality and speed would be. I purchased this item realizing that it'd basically pay for itself within a year. It currently runs 2 laptops, 2 cell phones, a Nintendo 3DS, a blu ray player, and is directly plugged into a PS4 with absolutely no lag. Websites load very fast depending on their servers response times. Streaming has been flawless so far. I was able to download a ~200MB PS4 update in practically no time. The only irritation I had, which was minor, was having to google to see how I could access the router itself to change the access name and password. Nothing in the box told me what the username and password was supposed to be in order to change these settings.

After buying this modem I've been able to boost my internet by 30mbps! the wireless router it includes is awesome as well
