Don't pay the monthly fee if their modem is used only for phone. Then we had to split the TWC line for phone hooked to their modem and internet through ours. Since doing that, our internet goes out 3-4 times per week and we have to unplug the modem and restart it. Not sure if it is a problem with the new modem or TWC service.

So far it works OK a little slower than previous one I had but it does the job. At least now I will save money on my cable bill.

I am keeping the same brand, but higher level:3.0 Wireless-N Cable Modem and Router. I like this machine, however, difficult to change of password.

The password to gain access to the admin console to make adjustments wasnt correct in the documentation/manual, had to search online for it. Once configured, there hasnt been any issues since.

More importantly, it was easy to install!!! The fact that it's both router and modem = less wires.
