Range not good.Does not cover my 2 bedroom condo.. I chose this over Netgear N3000. However it turned out that when i placed it at the center of my apartment, i could not get a good enough signal in the corners. Netgear's N3000 works better for me.

It took a bit for Cox to get it up and running on the system due to them mistyping one of the numbers in, but once that got straightened out it worked beautifully. It took a bit to figure out the original password to get into the settings so I could change all the settings to what I want. But as soon as I got it hooked up I was getting almost twice the speed I was originally getting.

Pretty good modem/router, good range... Easy set up..

Was torn between this and a few others, ended up buying this on the recommendation of the store clerk who said it will do what I need it to. He was right, I have signal in every room of my 2500sf single story house and outside nearly 75 ft away!

Did not need a phone port for this application.. Best Buy staff recommended this one.. very pleased.. and saved $$$.

Easy to set up. Works fine with comcast. Looks good.

It works really good on the desk top, but not a lot of distance on the wifi.

Well I have had this router for 6 months now. All I can say it works well. The set up was also simple. Works well with my Comcast service.

I like saving my clients money! Because the Service providers have the tendency to nickle and dime you to death!

This Modem-Router combo is easy to setup and works as expected straight out of the box. Would recommend for the right price (below $100).

I spent several weeks researching modems and finally decided on the surfboard eXtreme. I have been using it for over a month now and I am satisfied. The range on the router could be better. My house is not very large but the signal I get is not very strong on the opposite side of where the modem is located.

Purchased this gateway for home internet use rather than having to 'borrow' modem from Comcast and pay a monthly fee. All-in-one unit priced reasonably compared to purchasing modem and router separate. Easy to set up and have had no connectivity issues. Signal strength seems good to me regardless if I am upstairs or outside.

My boyfriend and I share a 1 Bedroom house. It's fast and has a great range for what we do. We have a Wii U, a PS4, two laptops, a tablet, two smartphones, and more. It's just right for heavy users in a small home, or light users in a big home.

Purchased this for my parents to provide wi-fi for their on home business. This does not support Ooma very well.

Easy set up. Have had router for almost 2 years with no problems. Just press a button on the front of the router to access ondemand TV

Very happy with my new Arris-SURFboard eXtreme Docsis 3.0 Wireless-N Cable Modem which has a router also. Smart way to save it and stop wasting your $$$ on leasing it from Comcast

This wireless modem and router is just what I needed. I love having the modem and router all in one! it takes up less room in my office.

My son wanted to upgrade his equipment to wireless. I purchased the all-in-one cable modem/router. He loves it!

Works great but has a limitation of area coverage as regards the distance each device needs to stay connected.

We moved into a two story house and I was not sure if I would need to have a modern/router for both floors. Not an issue, we get great coverage throughout the house with just the one.
