Works as described after a significant amount of time setting up. Apparently the instructions gave an incorrect password to get into the modem/router access and setup area. Correct password in instructions said it was admin, called customer service and they said motorola. Could have had it up and going in 5 mins if it wasnt for the incorrect info in the manual. OTHER than that...great product and simple setup with alot of options. I like a clutterless desk now as well.

plug and play and with a call to my provider and i was connected to the internet. Figuring the wifi password was difficult but nothing a forum page (which the link is provided for) cant solve

Love it! Even with these cable companies trying to get everyone to rent their ‘new technology’ modem/gateways, it continues to work with any tech they say is unique to the device they wish to charge me for.

Good for a small home, but if you move some far away WiFi is not very strong

Bought this to replace an Xfinity provided modem/router that would not "hold" wireless devices. iPads and Android phones kept getting dropped. Since installing the new Motorola have had no problems.

It's a great device and reliable. It's easy to set up and operate. Definitely a product that I would recommend!

Wish the signal was a little broader might have to get a wireless router as well

I needed a modem with wi-fi but also to hook up a hearing impaired device. They assured it would work but it did not! I haven't had a chance to return or exchange it yet since I work 5 jobs so maybe I can get some answers about what would be the best thing to get so when I come in I will know what to get. Thanks

It was an easy hook-up with my cable/internet company. Internet seems to be consistent throughout my 1 bedroom apartment. No problems so far.

Works well and easily handles the bandwidth that Time Warner is providing me.

Wireless is not very fast. But if wired u ll surf the Internet however you like.

It was easy to set up and has worked well with several devices drawing from it. The four extra wired connections are valuable when you need to run tests or are connecting an old computer.

had to buy a modem, so I bought this instead. my old router was just that , old.

After my cable modem finally gave up, I went in search of a replacement. I noticed this combination modem-router on the shelf, and began reading the features on the box. A salesperson approached and began giving me info on this particular product. I was told that it was not very good for watching movies or playing games, neither of which I do on-line. I have some music and photo albums, no video. I was assured that this product would be fine for my uses. It has been a headache since I set it up. It drops my service (cable) several times a session, and will freeze in the middle of short music videos on you tube. I have called my service provider several times for assistance, but the problems still persist, although less frequently. For the price, I expected much better performance and the faster speeds, as mentioned by the clerk. This purchase has been a disappointment.
