I purchased this product so I might recieve a wireless signal for my laptop. The ONLY downside is COMCAST will no longer service me if I have communicatios problems.

Had trouble with the cable companies rented modem. This took care of the problem and im saving $7 a month from Cox.

Sales staff was helpful in helping pick out the best moden.

This modem was recommended by the Best Buy sales associate and so far it's worked pretty good. I have a small place and it seems to do the job. I recommended it to a friend and he's happy with this product as well.

its good but the wireless it short range and it keep freeze

I am using it for internet and tv, some time it is slow.

I had to return this device as I found a better deal on a different one I always relied on. But this modem router does its job and never had any issues the time I used. easy setup, basic UI on its firmware.

Took a while to get working properly. Still cant get my wireless printer to find the router. Good upload/download speed. Small and compact. Easy to hide from sight.

I have had no issue with the modem/router. When I spoke with the Comcast tech when hooking up my internet an cable he said it is the best. Saves me $8 a month on my bill.

If you are doing a lot of streaming (i.e. Slingbox) in a larger house (more than 1,500 sq. ft.; with walls, this is NOT the modem for you. I found much better speed with a Surfboard Modem and separate Netgear Routre.

The connection is amazingly strong even from my backyard!

The Motorola - SURFboard eXtreme DOCSIS 3.0 Wireless-N Cable Modem and Gigabit Router is easy to install and a breeze to setup. You will need to contact your Cable provider to give them the device serial number so that they can enable it on their network for you, but that was a simple phone call to complete. The unit easily provides the bandwidth for the data plan that I subscribe to since it is DOCSIS 3.0.

It is a modem required by the internet service provider.

Probably the easiest-to-install wireless router and cable modem I've ever dealt with. Simple instructions, it quickly identified the devices and life was good. I did have to call the cable company to provision the modem but that was not unexpected. I would gladly buy another one of these if something happened to this one.

This is a replacement for my old SURFboard SBG6580 that I had for a couple years next to a saltwater fish tank that I kept getting water on . Works/Worked great

Great modem, but not totally compatible to Comcast cable.

This is a great Modem/Router combo. I was very skeptical at first because I have always had a modem and a wifi router, never both in the same unit. But this is really exceeded by expectations. I get a great signal throughout the house, and speed tests are through the roof. I have 2100+ square feed to cover and my neighbor can connect. I also connect to this via RJ-45 for my work PC and it flies too.

Works great. Does everything I expected. Will save me lots on rental from cable company
