Bought this a month ago as directed by Comcast for my internet service. Easy set up and all is well. No problems so far.

Good price easy to use works well takes up minimal space

Set it up and forget about it. Pretty basic so works perfect for me who apparently missed the tech genes in the family.

Please do what I did not; and read the reviews on this first. The idea of an All-in-One unit is awesome; and maybe there are some great units out there; but this is not one of them. The setup is easy enough and I do get internet signal and cable TV signal. If that is all you want you will be fine; BUT...and it's a big BUT, if you want to stream videos from Hulu, Amazon, Netflix etc., you are in for some frustration for sure. You will get a few minutes and then it will stop as if it's buffering; but you will have no choice but to either reboot to refresh, or continuously return to the main menus and then go back in to resume viewing. This is NOT a temporary issue; and if you read other reviews on this unit there is a very common trend. I have Cox Cable; and perhaps it is just a simple compatibility issue with them; but that is for smarter minds than me to figure out. I will be returning this item after many service calls to both Cox and Motorola and being ping ponged back and forth to many times without resolution. I will not make the same mistake next time and will be reading reviews first. Good luck everyone.

Great modem for the price, really fast and easy to use.

The modem has a strong signal and can reach a good distance from the base to other computers in the house. Easy to reset with a button on the front if the signal becomes weak.

No disappointments in using this cable router. Easy , quick to install, and works great. Have it in a second home with intermittent use. Dependable and efficient. Works great for wifi and streaming Netflix. No regrets.

This modem replaced my old surf board and uses the full speed capability provided by my provider. It has posts and wireless and has allowed me to reduce devices.

Replaced my 7yr old Motorola SBG900. This seemed like the updated version of the Surfboard that had served me so well for so long that I did not even consider another DOCSIS 3.0 modem. From hookup to use in about 5min. Quadrupled my Xfinity speed test results.

Easy to setup, works well, gets a good signal, compact

It's great having a combination modem/router.. But this one just wasn't powerful enough. I bought the next step up from this one and am much happier with my internet speeds!

I really like this product because it keeps all my wireless devices connected throughout the house. The range is good and it works with my internet provider approved modems.

It was very easy to install but the password needed to logon had changed since the directions were printed and I had to get the new password from the website. Kinda awkward.

We got this because ours was very outdated. After connecting it our connection has been slower and sometimes cuts out. This one is quick to reboot and things are fine once starting over. When it works it works well.

While not the fastest router available, this router/modem combination is sufficient for a small apartment with two occupants requiring basic internet connectivity. I've had success with Motorola (now Arris) Surfboard products in the past. Easy to setup and they never fail. For the price it's hard to beat.

Returned our cable company modem and purchased this replacement. It works consistently. We don't have to reboot two times daily. Have laptops, phones and iPads running and it can handle the flow just fine. It was worth the money. No more internet aggravation.

We chose not to spend $10/month for Xfinity router and our son & nephew both recommended this one made by Motorola.

I've been using this Surfboard for over a year and it has worked flawlessly
