This modem works great! Easy to hook up, took cable company about 5 minutes on phone to activate. It even functions as a router! Great product, and great value. Turned in my old modem and saved $4 per month on my cable bill- this thing pays for itself.

This device is terrific. I have not had any issues. I have five items that are hooked into this device and it is a beast.

I was surprised at how easy this was to install. The signal is not as strong as it was with previous wifi, but works well.

Bought this item upon returning the first modem I purchased, not realizing that TWC required a specific attachment piece. Though I had to pay a bit more on the front- end, the savings of not renting the cable companies equipment will be well worth it. Also know that the customer support number connects you with a "live" person who was both pleasant AND patient - walked me through resetting and everything!! Very pleased with this item!

Got this unit to own instead of renting one from my local cable company. The set up was plain and simple and only took a few minutes. I'm enjoying the ease of use and fast connection to all my devices

Cable company told us we needed a new modem DOCSIS 3 so our internet would work right. So we bought one and it still sucks, but prob not the fault of the modem.

This modem is fast and has a semi decent range. great for a home with multiple devices.

Seem to have a greater range. Restarts after a power outage with manually rebooting.

I live in a 700 sq. ft. apartment and sometimes I have wonderful internet speed and connection, but it becomes shaky if I head to the bedroom, just 15 ft away.

I like the Motorola - SURFboard eXtreme DOCSIS 3.0 Wireless-N Cable Modem and Gigabit Router, it takes less space, fewer connections to install. The password shoud be easier to use, such as a one word and number password, particularly for guest use.

I'm not that tech savvy, so I chose this based on what would work with my Time Warner. Seems to be keeping up just fine.
