Game is full of bugs, but gameplay is great...They could have spent some extra time fixing bugs so that I could avoid the need to go online to figure certain aspects of the game out...Overall, it was more than the worth $30 that I caught it on sale for.

The game is awesome but Best Buy screwed up my downloadable XBOX Live content redemption code. WOMP! In their email it says to enter the 25 digit code, however, in that same email where the "redemption code" is...it was only 19 digits long. So I called customer service and they said they can't do anything for 3 to 5 business days. So what was the point of pre-ordering it through best buy again???.... I usually have great service (in store, not over the phone), but this kind of stuff bothers me....

This installment of assassins creed provides a very different feel and departure from the previous installments. It was very fun because it was in such a different setting than the previous games, however I found the story to be very slow (especially in the beginning). The story is good and gameplay is also solid (naval warfare is a blast!). It is an interesting take on the Assassins creed series but does feel quite different from the others.

Never played any AC games until I preordered AC III. I got for series reputation and era of the game. After I pre-ordered I played all AC games in order. I liked AC II the best and Brotherhood and Revelations weren't up to par. The game starts slow, I'm in Sequence 6 now, about 8 hours in. Too many animated scenes, not enough game play. The side missions are more challenging but also you may need to play the game twice to build your "base" like the other AC games. A lot is unexplained in the timeline of the sequences, like how or why are you're in one place or the other. If I'm correct the main character seems to grow about a foot in one year and looks like he's 10 years older. I look forward to the Desmond missions now. Didn't play much multi-player in other AC but from the little I did play it looks the same as the others. No clue why this won so many awards at E3. Maybe the graphics. Don't expect to see anything you saw in the commercial until many hours into the game. I'm really hoping it gets better and lives up to hype. I don't suggest this game unless you wait until it's $20.

great game, not for kids, good story line, incredible graphics and game play.

This is a true assassin game in the sense that you have the ability to just slaughter people or kill them with stealth. The storytelling is one of its kind, the endless things you can do to keep you busy, and just the pure quality of being an Assassin are awesome. It might be an old game, but i still enjoy it.

Enjoying this game and there is so much to do. There are some bugs, but that seems to happen a lot with sandbox games this immense. These guys just keep on rolling out the hits with this series. Ship battles are fun and I am glad that the next AC, Blackflag, is going to be about being an assassin pirate.

Assassins Creed has become a classic! It is a great overall game, and a must buy for the holiday season. I would recommend this game to anyone that enjoys action and adventure!

What an awesome game. I really enjoyed the setting as I am a huge history buff. The graphics and gameplay are excellent, although the story could have used some work. Luckily, I don't buy games for the story.

This game was a present for my nephew. He enjoys it very much. When I play with him, I am amazed at the graphics and storyline. Nice game.

AC3 is a great addition to the Assassin's Creed Franchise. It introduces a lof of great features like hunting in the wild, riding a horse through town, and the first naval war gameplay seen in AC. You will see that some small details, like walking through deep snow slows the character, had a lot of thought put into them, I can't look past the big details that the game developers did, such as the same music played at every tavern! It gets very annoying. However, overall it is a great game.

Since I got this for my husband, he's enjoying all the violence. He thinks the story lines are great too.

cool game nice story, however not good for replaying and the multiplayer is lackluster

Overall this game is great. The new setting in America is refreshing. The new items, side quests, and extras that come along with the new setting are fun. The story is great, as always with the AC series. The one thing that is lacking is that the game is slow at times. I wish it was a little faster paced. Some people like this, some don't. It depends on your personal gaming preference.

Bought this for my son. He is enjoying it and the fact that he has not had any complaints leads me to believe it is fine.

The only redeeming factor about AC3 is the multiplayer. The story is the worst in the series. Connor is the most uninteresting assassin. The story might entertain some history buffs, but otherwise it is unimaginative. The gameplay is repetitive and honestly very tiring for those who have been playing the same game every year. They should not have annualized this series, and maybe it would have been the greatness that was AC2. The graphics are nice, but wait until you do the sea battles. Worst gameplay addition ever. Sometimes Ubisoft just adds random nonsense like this and you wonder why they make gameplay elements more of a chore than a fun game. Who bothered to do the hunting? This series has been on a downfall since brotherhood and unfortunately this was the last straw for me.

I've played the first, second, and brotherhood. I still yet have to beat revalations. AC3 is so far the best one yet.
