I loved this saga and that is why I bought this game. I found it very interesting but would have probably have tried it in XBOX One to check the difference of graphics.

I love this AC series with AC 1, 2 and 3 (not talking about Revelations) and now going with the Pirate theme in Black Flag AC IV is the next great step. The cool thing with this is the use of the ship and being on and in the water...nice touch. In short, a good wide-open environment to explore and great story to enjoy! Buy and enjoy!

I thought the game was fun and story interesting, however my only complaint is that there are too many glitches. There has been an update to fix one glitch but there are still others. Very frustrating to spend $60 on a game and to have it so buggy. I recommend the game, but wait until all the bugs are fixed.

Having played the atrocious 3, this one seems alot better. Although it does seem a bit weird for a pirate to know all these "assassin" abilities.

After a fairly disappointing AC3, this is such a great comeback. What disappoints me is that this games has gotten lower critical acclaim than AC3 because AC4 delivers on many levels that AC3 doesnt. First off, the game includes a lot of naval gameplay. This is expected becuase of the pirate based storyline. While at sea, there is plenty to do. Destroy and loot other ships, recruit new crew members to the Jackdaw (your ship), discover treasure, etc. The map is so huge and I'm so overwhelmed with the amount of places to explore. Whether you decide to purchase this game on either current gen or next gen, it's an equally enjoyable experience. The next gen version mostly has better environmental graphics, but on PS3, it's probably one of the best looking games of 2013.

Typical Assassins Creed Game. Great game play as always

This is the best game to play in the Assassin's Creed series. A must have.

Awesome game with a interesting storyline, smooth mechanics, amazing boat battles, and tons of areas to explore. Characters and locations are worth the time. Small details like Blackbeard having smoke and your crew singing various songs on the open sea. As far as the non-simulated storyline (real life) it seems way to cliche and boring. Also, until yoou get quick travel at certain locations, sailing across the map can be tedious if you are dead set in getting to an objective. There are a fair share of distractions that may be worth your time, whale hunting, treasure hunting, hitman contracts, etc. It's going to be hard to top this anytime soon in the assassin's creed franchise. Definitely worth it if you have the time and even better if you can get it on sale.

Overall, this is a great addition to the Assassin's Creed storyline and franchise. It works fantastically to include a new mode, which is the ship battles and it really gives the game a new, fresh, and exciting feel. As usual, the storyline is fantastic, it doesn't seem to repeat itself as some of the other games, but it really expands and shows a side we've never seen. If you're a fan of the AC series, this is a definite pick up!!!

I picked this game up last year as part of the $10 upgrade from PS3 to PS4, just as something to mess around with. To be perfectly honest, this ended up being one of my favorite PS4 launch titles. The game play is solid, the setting is great, and I had a ton of fun with it.

This is one of, if not, my favorite game of the year. I spent waaaay too much time sailing the seas, boarding enemy ships, exploring islands and traversing through gorgeous landscapes set in the times of Black Beard the pirate. Gotta love a good pirate adventure!

This is much better than ACIII. The whole pirate gameplay is completely changed in a bigger and better way. However, when your on foot it's really the same as every other Assassin's Creed

I've enjoyed these for a long time. I really like the addition of the gameplay on the water, it's a nice twist and a good addition to the game.

Great game and a fun addition to the Assassin's Creed line-up! I was a little disappointed with part 3, but Black Flag made it fun again!
