Assassins Creed IV is probably the best AC game so far. The open world gameplay is much like the previous games in the series but improves with better controls and lots of stealth action which you would come to expect from the series. If you have a PS4 I would buy this game one of the best games currently out on the system.

I like the AC series. A fun game, but sometimes found the ship driving thing really fustrating.

Loved this game. entertaining the whole entire time. Taking down enemy ships and make your ship better was gratifying. If you liked playing the other games in the series then you'll like this one.

Great Game for those who have played any other of the Assasins creed games. I would say play this because it has a taste of something new! especially on the best next gen. console PS4!

Game has a good storyline and fun to play, however, the free running and underwater mechanics are absolutely horrendous and nerve wracking. Trying to run through the towns after couriers or shanties and you'll either come to a dead stand still, jump in a direction you didn't intend, or jump to a ledge and not pull up on to it, yet move to either side and you can. Underwater with the diving bell is almost as bad. You'll find yourself swimming back at the camera somehow, get trapped not being able to move, attacked by sharks because you can't stop in the grass, etc. All in all, fairly fun, but not my favorite in the series.

As a gamer that has enjoyed some previous AC games, but has found them to sometimes be repetitive, I find this installment to be perhaps the best in the series, breathing some much needed fresh (sea) air into the series. There is a massive amount of content, so players are likely to spend many hours exploring and enjoying this game. The only small complaint I have about the PS4 version of this game is that it doesn't really stand out compared to the last-gen versions of the game. This may be a slight disappointment to those expecting a major upgrade from the PS3 and XBOX 360 versions.

Overall the game is pretty great. I love the pirate ships and such. The graphics are pretty nice. I believe it might be the best PS4 game right now to buy.

This game is everything you want from Assassin's Creed gameplay wise and with the new setting as a pirate makes this an easy choice!

This game is fun to play, and it has beautiful graphics. If you like pirates... You are going to have a great time playing AC4

This is my 1st time playing an Assassin's Creed game and I'm blown away, GREAT GAME, hours upon hours of swashbuckling entertainment. For those of you who remember and enjoyed Sid Myers Pirates go buy this game now if you haven't! I think they missed a good opportunity to make an amazing multiplayer with the time era of this game (think GTA V as pirates!) or even made a co-op experience because what they put out out there for multiplayer is EXTREMELY boring and repetitive.

Fun open world game with great graphics. better on ps4 than ps3 looks cleaner

AC2 was better. That story actually had me hooked. AC3 and AC4 just don't have the same feel to them that AC2 and its sequels did. They just feel mediocre in comparison. Sailing the seas and tearing up other ships is about the best part of the game, and what I wound up doing less than halfway into the story. However, that only had me engaged for so long before I just traded it. Hopefully the next title will be better, and a bit more innovative.

my favorite game for ps4! This game is long and there is a lot to do. Excellent game and a lot of fun.

such a great addition to the franchise. the sailing aspect simply makes this game.

So if you played and beat the PS3 version like I did. You will enjoy the playing and fighting while on foot, but as soon as you're on your ship doing ship battles it gets very repetitive. A change or increased functionality for this part of the game would have made it possible to beat again. However I just can't do all those battles again.

This game is a lot of fun. It's very immersive with a huge map to explore. The only annoying thing for me is the free running, sometimes you just don't want to climb up something but it does anyway and causes you to have to replay an event.
