I'll be honest, this is the first Assassin's Creed I have played. I wanted a couple of games for the launch of the Xbox One, and after watching a video, this one looked pretty fun. And it is. I have to assume that if you have liked previous ones, you will like this one as well.

Excellent visuals, but controls (which turned me off of AC I) are sluggish. I expect more response from the controls, particularly in next gen. Game play is fun though. Story so far is ok, but I am early in the game.

Great game for the first few hours, then its the same missions on different islands with slightly different characters. Same ship battles every three minutes or so, doesn't have much to do with the other games at all.

Overall an ok game that got boring too quickly. I played for 2 weeks and haven't played since. Too much fighting and travel time in the ships. Cool graphics and gameplay but I wish I could skip the high seas travel.

Bought this as a gift for my grandson. He hasn’t complained so I can only assume it’s not defective and he likes it.

Best assassins creed out thus far. Felt like the first player was very short though. Tried the multiplayer, still not impressed, don't think they will ever have a good multiplayer because their first player is on point.

Our first game on our first system since Sony PS1. Easy to learn, easy to play. Kinda wish Xbox One would retroactively release all the old Assassin's Creed games so we could catch up on the full storyline.

Great story and looks beautiful, only thing that keeps it from being great is the multiplayer system. But if you are looking forward to a great single player experience and not to concerned about multiplayer then this game is perfect for you.

I had never played any assassin's creed game before and boy do I regret it!!! this game has had me in front of the tv for hours!!! if you haven't played it before, don't think twice about getting it

I bought this for a Christmas present and a very affordable price. I hope my cousin will enjoy it

anyone who loves ship to ship combat hiding in the shadows and ambushing enemies or just straight out fighting this game has alittle bit for anyone's game play style

I'm about half way through the game. Very enjoyable with a fun story line. I never played the other assasins creeds so I don't know how this measures up, but I'm having a great time playing.

Bought for my son for Christmas. He loves it!!! Great price too!!!

I've always liked AC and this game was a nice break from the trilogy. However the gameplay which never really changes all that much gets repetitive even with the ship parts thrown in.

This game kinda reminded me on Pirates. I loved the combat system and the multiplayer is pretty cool (like COD Ghost without guns).

This game is really fun if you enjoy naval warfare. I really like skirmishing with other navy ships with large volly's of cannon fire!

This game would have received five stars had it been the Xbox 360 version, but seeing as how it's the Xbox One version I expected more out of it graphically.

Would highly recommend. Also purchase the walkthrough guide. There's a lot to learn for a newbie and it helps get you through the game if you're not familiar.

Had no problem purchasing a second copy to work around the backwards compatibility issue with the xBox One... great game.
