this is an appropriate game for adults and older teenagers. It is more for the males than females.

At times was confused where to go and what to do but I got the hang of the game in no time

It's the best pirate game I've played since Sid Myers Pirates on the original Xbox. You can essentially run rampant around the Caribbean pillaging booty. If you're a pirate fanatic like myself you need this title. There is an IOS and Android application for playing the ship battle mini game. It's totally optional but gives you fun to do during work breaks. Fun stuff to do in the Bahamas: Harpoon: Sharks, Whales, and even Moby Dick Wage war at sea with the British, Dutch, and Spaniards! Duke it out with Templars and Assassins. Collect new outfits. Hunt for materials to make said outfits. Tweak your ship. Run various bounties down. Find loot filled chests. The only negatives to this game are some type modern day world interactions where if you follow the series you know about Animus. If you don't. Then don't worry, it's easily forgotten. Great game!

Beautiful game but boring. You do the same stuff over and over again. It never stops. Eventually you just start raiding boats all the time but that gets boring because your ship is to powerful.

ACIV is excellent in nearly every way. I personally had burnt out on the AC series after AC2, but ACIV has captured me in a way that I haven't experienced with a game in a very long time. There is nothing like sailing the open seas with your crew singing sea shanties. It captures a sense of adventure which alludes most games and invites you into a beautiful and breathtaking world with around 70 hours of content plus multiplayer. Don't hesitate to pick this one up.

I thought it was going to be a great game cause of the trailers but if you're in to fast action games this is not gonna do it.

As noted above. I do not watch/play or agree with rated M video games - too much violence and the world needs less of it.

Enjoyed the previous titles of the AC franchise and wasn't sure of this one. It was easy to get immersed in the story and enjoy the game play. Hard to find a good spot to stop playing since you just want to keep going. There are lots of places to break off from the story line and explore while building your character up. Planning the upgrades and acquiring items you need keeps you challenged and makes it stay interesting. Had I not played any of the previous titles I feel this one could be enjoyed by itself as it carriers enough of its own story and thus far (27% through) only ties in small portions of the preceding characters. Also the animus design inside of the game has evolved and added story line outside of it's interface, almost making the game play you experience as pirate Edward Kenway as a sub world inside of another world. If you've played the previous AC titles then surely you can appreciate the evolution of it, if not, it's still pretty impressive. Nicely done, very much approve. It looks and plays great on the Xbox one.

Awful game. Returned it for a 30 dollar loss. Don't recommend!

This is just like all the other Assassin's Creeds. Looting chests, stealthy kills, perched high above towns to get the best vantage point and revealing more of your map, nonetheless it is a great addition to the genre. The graphics are great, the physics are seamless, and it'll offer many hours of enjoyment.

It's similar to the other games in the series so far but for those unfamiliar it throws you right in to the story and might take you a few minutes to figure out what to do and how to get there

After not liking the two or three previous installments of AC games, I was reluctant to try Black Flag. However, this is one of the best AC titles in a while. Battling other ships is addicting and exploring this vast world is also fun. However, I felt that doing tedious tasks while out of the animus was just an annoyance and did little to push the story. Still a fantastic game though.

I really liked this game for a long time. It gets kinda repetitive though. I need to start playing it again

This is honestly a great game. I've enjoyed every minute of it. The sense of adventure and joy you get while sailing your ship through the open seas is fantastic. Don't hesitate to pick it up.

Love the game from the start, still currently playing it. So far the story mode is great. Fighting is simple to understand and defend. Tons of areas to explore. I can tell this game has a ton of gameplay hours.

I've played all of the Assassin's Creed games and this is the best one yet! I'm a big fan of pirates, so maybe I'm biased, but the replay value of this game is very high. Hours of game play, great graphics, smooth and easy to operate which makes for a fun gaming experience! I highly recommend this game if you are a fan of the series and if not you're missing out!

This is one of the best games out for xbox one. There is so much to do in the game you definitely get your moneys worth

I wasn't a fan of AC3 or the AC2 trilogy, but this one is really fun. I had convinced myself that I am no longer buying the AC games but I'm glad I got this one. I haven't gotten far into the game yet but so far I think it was worth the money.

i love all the assassins creed and this one scared for a minute but it was fun and a good game.
