Haven’t played an assassins creed game in a long tome. This was cheap so I got it. It seem just like all the other games.

This game strays away from the original assassin's Creed games. Much more of a hack and slash game with an ok fighting system.

Its an OK RPG, it doesn't have a lot of character building I would typically expect from this type of game

A let down. I have Valhalla now…get that one, or Odyssey.

I thought last game was the best, nope, Anceint Rome is now the standard for the future of the series.

Average game not the best not the worst, make sure you get it on sale.

Too many moving parts for the casual gamer. Choppy cutscenes and terrible dialogue. If you're an avid fan, you'll probably like it though because it seems like a lot of work went into creating it.

Many old school AC fans disagree with me, however, I am here to tell you why they are wrong. AC Odyssey is an amazing all around game. It is much more of an RPG than an old school AC title. If you are a fan of games like The Witcher 3, you should get this game. It has a good story, great voice acting, great graphics, great gameplay an amazingly huge and fully fleshed out world and more than enough content. I am over 140 hours in and am HALF WAY done with the main story and have yet to start the DLC. At no time did I just grind, instead I ignored the main story, turned map markers off, bumped the difficulty to Hard and have been just exploring the game and meeting and helping NPCs as I find them. Some side quests are stupid like "Wolves are scaring my sheep, go kill ALL the worlves!" others are quite simply amazing multifaceted side quests that rival some main story quests from previous AC games. If you have even the slightest interest in Greece circa 430 BCE stop reading this and buy it now. It is just that good. YouTube has a ton of reviews and all I can say is ignore the opinions and look at the gameplay. Simply put, AC Odyssey is the best open world since Horizon Zero Dawn, and yes, that includes the overrated but still a masterpiece RDR2. WHere RDR2 has a more simulation feel to it and has more attention to detail, AC Odyssey runs better, crashes and glitches out less and is just 5 times as fun to PLAY. RDR2 actively fights you and unless your idea of fun is ramming into trees and rocks every 5 minutes or crashing and losing hours of progress, you might enjoy AC Odyssey more.
