I am a fan of the Assassins Creed games. I haven't played the last few due to lack of interest and the franchise becoming a bit stale. I enjoy the history aspect of the games and Egypt is full of history. The mechanics of the game work well and climbing is fairly easy. I still am getting used to the combat system in the game as it can be a bit tricky to block and parry. overall an enjoyable game.

This is an excellent return to the Assassins Creed series. Overall improvements in combat and gameplay and its 4k enhanced if you have an Xbox one X and a 4k tv!

Got it for my xbox one x and holy smokes, glad I did. Felt like I was in the game. Details for 4k is eyepopping. Only issues i had are as follows: 1) be prepare to have this game eat up a huge portion of your hard Drive for the game download. 2) areas of the games still has graphics rendering issues. A patch was released to address issue but still noticeable as you play the open world game.

Have played all of the assassins creed series. This one hanged up the formula. Mostly for the better. Is a big open world to explore and deeper combat.

Much of the visceral mechanics from For Honor, the February 2017 Ubisoft release, transferred over to AC: Origins masterfully. Instead in AC, you have a storyline, much more places to explore, and different customizable player options. In other words, you get a better, more complete game. On the Xbox One X, graphics and picture quality dazzle the eyes. A true visual spectacle.

I rented Assassin's Creed Origins, Three times before deciding to purchase. It's an awesome game with a lot of content to explore in it's open world environment. Separate from the game is a walk through tour with check points that functions like a museum. I purchased the standard game but see myself getting the extension packs eventually. I definitely recommend it.
