This game seems unfinished and terribly unpolished. Moving about in the game is painful when the character climbs everything, including chairs, buckets, etc.

Very glitchy game. Wouldn't recommend. Wait for Valhalla or the AC3 remastered version.

I purchased a season pass for Assassins Creed Unity and got the wrong code and called customer service who said they would send me another via email and I never received it. The store said they couldn't do anything about it now I am out $29.99. Last time I buy anything digital from Best Buy.

Story line is great and options are also good. However, there are several glitches within the game. Some being when you complete a mission, game does not pause when Mission Review menu is up. There have been a few times I have died because of this. Other glitches include fighting where my character will randomly teleport locations and begin fighting new characters. But overall, game play, story line, missions are good.

As of Dec '14 this game is still full of technical problems that make it very difficult to play and even harder to enjoy. Wait until Ubisoft is finished patching and releasing before buying. Thanks to ACU, I will never pre-order a game again.

Don't spoil yourself watching the first minutes gameplay, this game reminds me a bit of AC2 The way it begins and develops, i am happy with the changes on parkour, and sword fights, also stealth, fighting is kinda like Batman series, more fun than previous ac games, parkour is way more fluid and efficient, but some times it fails, graphics look great overall but some times you feel like in ac black flag graphically speaking, story is good so far, haven't tried co op. I say this is the AC2 of the ps4, hope next one to continue getting better. If you are a fan dont miss it, if you are new to the series and are interested, try this new next gen experience.

I have owned several games in this series and this is by far the worse I have played. The game play and story line are not what I expect in this series. Very disappointed

This game got slammed early on I guess from several bugs early in its gaming life. I purchased it 3 weeks ago on sale and have really liked it so far! I have not been a Creed fan in the past but this game is very interesting. Graphics are great and there is an actual storyline. I would definitely recommend this game if you can get it on sale. It will hold your attention and interest.

I bought the game when it first came out, but didn't start playing until about a week later so I suppose that's why I have not run into any of the glitches/issues that I heard so much about. Anyway, I have to say this is an amazing game. From someone who loves the series, I have to say it is a great addition. On a slightly less biased note, the game itself has fixed many things from previous games. Running, sprinting, jumping over and under obstacles feels a lot smoother. There's also the Free-Run Down or Free-Run Up which allows for one to easily descend or ascend the buildings in Paris. The scale of the map is quite astounding, as well as how much there is to do within the game (which is not necessarily something new to the series but is a good point to bring up). While I'm sure many were fond of the online multiplayer modes, I for one like this version more -where you and your companions work together to complete missions. It's nice to see a change. The Rift missions are also a nice touch. The fact that you cannot automatically kill the guards after a parry also adds a layer of difficulty and makes the guards a bit harder to handle, which is great. I do love the little additions and how good everything looks. It is a visually stunning game, in addition to a good storyline. My only major drawbacks, however, are: the companion app and specifically AC Initiates having trouble syncing, and the amount of gear and weapons that are only available if you complete the multiplayer missions/events [this one is of course minor especially since most games have this feature in order to get you to play online, but it is a bit annoying]. Also, apparently you can't pet cats or dogs anymore.

    Another Stab

Assassin’s Creed Unity is a game of impossible peaks and disappointing valleys. Its highs of movement, customization options, and just the city of Paris itself pierce the sky like the spire of Notre Dame. On a purely technical level, Unity is a marvel to walk through and admire. But at the same time, a lot of my journey through the French Revolution felt as cold and heartless as the darkest depths of the catacombs. I was never given a real reason to care about new Assassin Arno, or the events that transpired. Instead, I had to find my own fun throughout my 30 hours in Unity, which was generally easy to do in its large sandbox assassination scenarios. However, it’s a bit disappointing to see how few of the long-standing problems with the series have been solved by the upgrade to the new generation of gaming hardware.
