I've been playing AC since it was first released. I absolutely loved Odyssey and I think that's why this game falls flat for me. The changes in the combat system are significant enough to frustrate you and the fights are now a little wonkier IMO than prior games. The storyline is really interesting though and the graphics are nuts. I also like some of the changes to the leveling system and how customizable it is. If you really liked Odyssey, I am not sure you'll like this game unless you stick with it. I ended up giving up and moving on to other games.

Great entry in the franchise! It’s a fun open world AC game. Dual wielding axes is really fun. So many quests to keep you busy

This is the way, if your a fan on Norse mythology this is the game for you, amazing graphics and. Gameplay and super fast load times on series x/s

Great game.... It draws you in and you will lose lots of hours playing. Lots of fun. Controls at times can be a little stickler but loads of fun.

There's a bit of a slow start but the game picks up and has pretty good mechanics. It's not a normal Assassin's Creed game since there's much less parkour but the story is still there and the map is huge.

Received the PS4 version by mistake for Christmas. I returned it and got the one for Xbox One. My favorite game series are both by Ubisoft - Assassins Creed and Far Cry. I like AC Valhalla ok but I don't think it's as good as previous games. They spend too much time talking and in the cut scenes. You are building up your settlement and have to go out and raid places to get supplies to build with. I like raiding because it's a good fight but you have to wait till you level up to the same level as the places you raid or you'll never come out alive. So that forces you to do other stuff until you can go raiding again. I know a lot of this sounds negative, but it's really not bad. I am enjoying playing it and I would recommend giving it a try.

Great game. Stunning graphics, and story, with heartfelt acting. Definitely a little harder than the previous assassins creeds.

Another great assassins creed game in my opinion. If very similar to origins in gameplay. A must add addition if your a fan of the series.

Game is great, definitely the most interesting one I played and I love the open world aspect, also it came in like 2 days which was nice.

The landscape is breathtaking! The story starts very slow compare to the other AC games but it is very catching. The game ist very dark, mystic and scary with curses and witches etc. On the other hand the landscape is really beautiful. I must say, this game is not for kids. There’s a lot of bad language, sex, drugs and alcohol. And this game is extremely brutal. You literally chop of limbs heads and torsos. You literally burn down houses and people. I personally love this game! On the Xbox series x is the best experience.

A great follow up to Odyssey. Great graphics and have an open world feel to the game. Hours of gameplay. Would highly recommend

Have always loved all the Assassins Creeds. This one doesn't fail either. Great game. Love the Viking style game play and the Raids.

This was the first next gen game I booted up on my Series X. I haven't ever really been into AC (played AC: 3, & Unity that's about it), but once I kept hearing how good the last 2 were I had to try. I have a total of 192.5 hours into it, with 96% completion and I'd say it was my most enjoyable singleplayer game I've played since RDR2 & God of War. Obviously this game doesn't stack up to those as a whole, but this game is an 8/10 for me. One thing's for sure you can get your money's worth in play time.

One of the best assassins creed game to date. Really good story and gameplay. The map is very big and have a lot of side quest to do.

Assassins Creed Valhalla is a fantastic game. Works stunningly on the next generation consoles. Best game in the series thus far.
