I feel like the odyssey had better game mechanics but the way this game is put it only makes sense that you have the choppy mechanics. So far it is been a great game. Different but good.

Although this game is a continuation of the rebirth that began with Origins, I'm really liking it. The game looks great, runs smooth (on series x), and is certainly worth picking up.

He seems to really enjoy the series as he likes Mythology. He says that he enjoys Asssassin’s Creed Odessythe most and put this one 2nd over “Origins”.

The story is meh, the characters are meh, the last AC that actually pulled me in in recent years was AC Origins, prior to that it was the Ezio Trilogy and Altair (AC1). This game here honestly it just didn't do anything for me and while still in the game the Asgard missions seem like pointless filler (but who knows maybe there's a bigger reveal). All in all decent game and visuals combat is stiff but apparently on next gen and PC it's a lot smother (On Xbox One X). Not good not great so buy it at a discount.
