Love this one, Assassins Creed Valhalla is a resurrection of the Original as one of the best in the series.

Only a day into the game, review with change if things get better or worse. The good: Graphics, sound, voice acting. The bad: With a title that includes the "word assassin", you might assume stealth was an important element (like in previous titles) - And you would be wrong. Get ready for a AC themed copy of The Shadow of Mordor. Early gameplay consists of running around, swinging large heavy weapons. Even after a stealth weapon and attacks are introduced, it seems more of an afterthought as you are still most greatly rewarded for running straight at a group of enemies and button mashing. I was hoping that stealth would become more of a strategy late game - but after reading a few reviews, those hopes have been dashed. One of the knuckle-heads actually point out how glad they are stealth was removed from the game (PC Gamer). As much of a disappointment the removal of stealth is, it pales in comparison with my next complaint. Character movement feels like everything is stuck in syrup. I just finished AC Odyssey a few days ago, so my fingers still remember what an AC game is supposed to feel like - and this ain't it. Everything is slow and clunky feeling. Buttons seems like someone spilled a bowl of honey on the controller. Conclusion: Pretty to look at, terrible control feel, stealth takes a back seat, unnecessary changes to a winning formula. If you love stealth and the feel of AC games of the past, prepare to be majorly disappointed. Another great series lost to WWE style changes so you can eat a bucket of chicken while you play the game.

This game is wonderful and exciting. I've played for a few hours now, and it looks amazing on the Series X.

Fantastic game especially on the Xbox Series X. No issues up to this point and I would highly recommend it.

Definitely a game worth every penny! Yea it is buggy but not enough to break the game. It's amazing and huge!

A new Assassin’s Creed entry that is more than welcomed compared to some of its lackluster predecessors!

A refreshing take on the Assassin's Creed Valhalla franchise. More diverse optional objectives, consequences, and lands to explore. A definite step up from the previous game.

I’ve thoroughly enjoyed this game, with exception of the “modern day” interruptions.

This is one of my favprite games. I bought on PS5 and now on Xbox.

The on-line order with store pickup worked flawlessly for me. The Xbox disc is a Christmas present for Grandson thus won't be opened for another two weeks. My wife was concerned about a November purchase with a usual 30-day return policy in case there were duplicate gifts. The pickup desk clerk wrote a note on the receipt that return was valid until January 6th per the Best Buy policy for the season. Thanks to the store and kudos to the clerk.

It a fun game to play. The graphics and sound are great. There is a lot to explore so you don’t get bored.

Excellent game that looks great on my XBox Series X! Best Buy had it waiting for me on the XBox Launch Day.

So far loving this game, but probably luckily playing after all the initial bugs have been fixed.
