Not your grandfather's Assassin's Creed

As far as Assassin's Creed games go, this is low on the totem pole. As far as open world, hack and slash puzzlers, it's decent. There are so many unresolved bugs that it sometimes gets frustrating and you just stop playing. Nothing like getting stuck in solid rock, and having to shut down the game to bring it up. I also was able to kill a legendary animal by just hacking at it. It was stuck in the ground about 100 feet above the cave it was supposed to be in. Don't get me wrong, there's plenty to do, the graphics are pretty, and it is fun. Too many bugs however, detracts from any game (Ubisoft are you listening). Overall, I'd rank it as one of the lowest in the franchise. Now if they'd just have called this game Viking Berserker or something else, my rating would have been higher. Finally, I'm convinced that even when these are released, they are still in Beta. :)

Don't buy from Bestbuy
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased a PC from BestBuy and received a code for Assassin's Creed, the code expired before the game was released and neither BestBuy nor AMD will do anything about it. Don't buy this from BestBuy
