I’m absolutely obsessed with this game, its graphics, and the endless hours you can put into it. The only issue I have is some of the “Viking” tattoos and symbols/runes they’re using aren’t from the Viking age- specifically the Vegvisir (an Icelandic sigil created well after the Viking Age). But it’s beautiful and endless storylines and quests give you plenty of free time filler! I’ve got around 130 hours so far from just exploring and doing a few quests to open spots up. I can’t wait to see how many hours I have once I complete the game!

Ever since AC Black Flag I saw the potential for a Vikings style game in the AC universe, so when this was announced I was super excited. This game has lived up to my years of expectations. The game ties up long-time questions for the Assassin's Creed franchise and gives the series a clear narrative direction for the first time in years. Eivor's quest to avoid their fate makes for an empathetic hero, one whose many journeys flow together into an intriguing mystery. Exploration is encouraged through memorable snippets of world-building, rewarding you with powerful weapons and abilities. You're afforded a great deal of agency in how you want to fight and are rewarded for strategically playing to your strengths. Some of the downsides would be that certain arcs aren’t handled in a satisfying way, ending without much character growth. The main campaign in the beginning isn't paced very well, making the first hours a little tedious, but if you stick with it things pick you and the game starts to shine.

Beautiful and smooth AFTER all the updates...I actually purchased this game 3 times. The first when it came out, I hated it. To many glitches and screen tearing. The second after I wanted to try again because it got a little boring. Then the 3rd time, all sale prices btw. This time it seems the bugs are out and the game is okay. Not the best in the series but good. Though a lot of work still needs to be done, in particular all the gradient mess in the sky during cut away scenes, are a nightmare. And second, the main plot line gets buried in the side missions. It needs to be better organized. Also the controls are pretty bad. Coming from playing origins then Odyssey, this feels uncomfortable.

Excellent game perfect storyline with beautiful graphics and s superb soundtrack. Best Assassins Creed ever made, A definite must buy video game

Great game been playing for over 40hrs and still plenty to do. Story is fun setting is beautiful on next gen and combat takes some time but gets fun.

Quite possibly my favorite Assassins Creed to date. I definitely recognize that it is buggy and have experienced several of the bugs myself. However as I think about pure game enjoyment, skill tree, and the combat system, I still believe this is an excellent game. I am almost 100 hours of play time in and have so much more to explore and discover!

waited a long time for this game to be released, was well worth the wait. Quite possibly my favorite of the AC storyline. Best Buy offers Great price/deal on Xbox games always

The concept of the game is super fun. The story line is great. However, with it being new, there are several bugs in many aspects of the game. I'm sure through future updates it will all be fixed though.

Solid game. Some of the animations get stuck, but overall very smooth. The quality of graphics is amazing, very beautiful game. Definitely worth the purchase, I have a lot of fun playing.

Grabbed this to have something new on my Xbox Series X. It’s...just ok. It’s my first Assassin’s Creed game so I had no expectations going in but the word that keeps coming to mind as I think about this game is slow. Slow story, slow fighting, slow traversing the world, just slow... Beautiful game, but waiting for it to give me a reason to keep going.

They kind of jammed in the whole Assassins aspect, you meet a couple "assassins" you build a bureau in your camp that's as close to "Assassina Creed" as your going to get. You do accept contracts to kill. But it's Vikings who wouldn't want to plunder, burn and conquer ... it's a great game.

Great game as always from our friends at Ubisoft. We would judge this as one of the best versions of Assassins Creed and we have had them all.

Bought this as a birthday gift for my brother. He has thoroughly enjoyed it and says it’s his favorite Assassin’s Creed game.

Love this game. Looks absolutely killer on the new X Series. I’m a huge fan of the AC universe and this doesn’t disappoint.

Well worth the money. Over 100 hours of game play. I just with they would fix the fishing.
