The adapter takes the fiber optical wire from the amplifier and transfers the 4k 3D audio output from the PS5 to your headset. The technology is genius. A great buy for any avid Astro conessuier.

Works well on my PS5 and Astros A50 Gen3

Comes with a short Rugged cable, a little hard to adjusy into place but its durable. Great for monitors and TVs with no optical out port. Currently used with a Benq monitir and Astros A50 Gen 3
