Broken after 3 months use

I have switched hdmi cables and the usb power cable, but still wont send a signal to my monitor. Truly disappointing that this has stopped working within such a short period of time.

Better off with different headphones

First one did not work right out of the box. Got a 2nd, it worked for about a month. Now it doesn't power up, yet it still passes the video through. I'm just going to get a different pair of headphones for my PS5 so I can take full advantage of 4k120HZ. Good try Astro, Terrible product though

Short lifespan

Terrible echo problem

Well having this installed with my Astro a50 or a40 I had a terrible echo and all anyone could do is complain about the echo that was occurring from my headset.

No PS5 Performance Mode

Garbage. Not helpful for PS5

Posted .Hello tomc, we are so sorry to hear that the Astro HDMI adapter did not meet your expectations. Sony states the supported resolutions are 720p, 1080i, 1080p, and 2160p (4K) in their Ultimate PS5 FAQ. As of this writing, 1440p (2K) is not a supported output by the console and games running at 4K resolution are limited to 60 Hz refresh rates, even though the PS5 does support HDMI 2.1 and 4K at 120 Hz content. Additionally, the PS5 games themselves must support higher refresh rates and settings will need to be changed in-game and in the PlayStation system menus in order to unlock them. Your resolution and refresh rate will be limited by the lowest version HDMI device in your video chain. This means that if you are using any device or cable less than HDMI 2.0b you will be capped at the HDMI rating of that device. For example if you are connecting with a cable rated for HDMI 1.3 then you will be limited to HDMI 1.3 capabilities. For further details on this, please check out the link at the end of this message. Posted .Hello, So sorry to hear about your disappointment with the Gaming HDMI Adapter. I'm unsure what battery you're referring to, so I'll assume that it's the A50 headset since that's the only thing that does need charging. The A50 should charge on it's Base Station even if the PS5 is in sleep mode. The HDMI Adapter is simply needed to add an optical port.
